Kenneth entered Car's café with a frown on his face, glaring at his phone. He was having a bad day and all he needed right now was a cup of triple shot of expresso.

But the moment he walked into the café, he finally looked up from his phone he found himself being stared at by curious blue eyes that he know for sure that wasn't Nael's. And to top it all, it was just the two of them in the café since it was almost closing time.

Great, it just has to be her. He thought.

"Er..Welcome to Car's café...?" She greeted awkwardly, making him sigh.

"Can I have my usual?" He took a seat.

"Um...I don't really know what's your usual." She muttered making him sigh,

"You know what, I'll do myself a favor," He got up from his seat, "I'm just gonna leave."

"Wait--Kenneth!" Ashley grabbed his arm, "About the other day--"

"Oh, don't bother." He cut her, "It doesn't matter anymore, does it? Besides, you have a boyfriend I should've seen it coming." He looked at her hands which were still holding his firmly, "Do you mind?"

Ashley furrowed her eyebrows and trailed her eyes to where he was looking at and quickly let go of his arm when she realized she was still holding it. "Sorry" she mumbled.

He was about to walk away when he felt her arms pulling him back for the second time, "What now?"

She stared at his eyes, and she didn't like it one bit. He was holding himself back, it wasn't like before, and she didn't like it. She opened her mouth to say something only to close it, making herself look completely stupid like a gaping fish.

"Look, I have somewhere to be. And if you're not gonna talk, can you just let go of me then?" He asked rudely. She looked back at him. He was looking at her with a strange feeling in his eyes, she didn't realize how close they were until she could feel his breath on her forehead.

"No," she muttered, "No, I cannot let you go." She said it, louder this time. Making him look at her with wide eyes.

"Listen, I really have to go." He lied, he didn't actually have somewhere to be. But he needed to leave before his emotions burst out. He could see the hurt in her eyes and slowly she let go of him and nodded.

"I see you don't want me to explain myself then." She said, making him look back at her.

"Ash--"

"No, that's okay. You need somewhere to be. And I don't think me explaining myself is that important to you." She muttered. "You said it yourself, it doesn't matter anymore. But you said that I have a boyfriend, you are completely wrong." She sighed, shaking her head. "In fact, you're probably all wrong about whatever you thought were my reasons for ditching you. But that doesn't matter anymore, does it?" She said, with so much bitterness in her voice.

"I don't--"

"You should leave, don't you have somewhere to be?" She said, raising her eyebrow at him daring him to question her. Slowly, he turned, walking away from her, without saying anything. He didn't even say goodbye. She sighed, "I should've known."
