Ashley was enjoying herself watching her friend, Zack singing terribly at the top of his lungs. She loved her friend but Zack couldn't sing to safe his life. His hand brushed his blue hair and he winked at her, making her laugh.

When he finished, she swore she could hear the crowd went 'thank god' and some guy even yelled  'you cant sing!' from the corner of the room making Zack glare at the guy.

"So how was I?." He asked, taking a set next to her.

Ashley took a bite of her oreo cheescake and smile, "Great as always, Gordon!"

He frowned, "You won't let that go, will you?"

"Nope!" She said popping the p, laughing at his sour expression. She called him Gordon because three months, they were out to some bar, and Zack, who was too drunk to remember his name, decided to call himself Gordon Ramsay, and it had stuck from then.

"I was drunk!" He whined, "You can't do that!"

"Yes, I can!" Ashley said, crossing her hands over her chest. Zack kept arguing and whining about how she should let that go while Ashley kept teasing him until he finally said,

"You know what? I'm not talking to you!"

"Oh, yeah. Real mature Zack. Remind me again, who's the older one here?" Ashley teased him again,

"Fine!" He said after a moment. Ashley grinned. He continued to ramble about how she should stop calling him that or even something else because the moment her eyes fell on the entrance door and saw that familiar black haired guy and her smile faded,

What on earth was he doing here?

Zack seemed notice Ashley sudden silence because he stopped rambling and followed her eyes to see what, or who she was looking at. "Is that him?"

"I should go." She said, when his eyes met hers. She quickly grabbed her purse and walked to the door, but of course, he just had to follow her.

So here they were, Ashley who was trying her best to get away from him. And Kenneth, who was desperately trying to reach for her.

"Ashley," he called,

"Ashley," she quickened her steps this time.

"Ashley!" Ignore him, ignore him ignore him!

"Damn it, Ashley." He gently grabbed her hands, "Stop walking away."

"Let me go!"

"No." He said, pulling her closer making her bump into his chest, "I can't let you go."

She looked up, their eyes met and she quickly pulled away. "What is wrong with you!"

"What?"

"Get away from! Why are you even here?!"

"I thought we were supposed to go to prom?" Kenneth was confused,

Ashley let out a silent laugh, shaking her head. "Gosh, you're something else arent you?"

"Is everything okay?"

"Perfect. Everything just perfect." She sighed, "You shouldn't be here."

"Then where should I be?"

"Not here, not with me." Kenneth frowned at her, what did she mean? Does she not want to be with him?

"Ashley I--"

"Ashley?" Another voice called her, making them turn around and saw the blue hair guy standing near the door, looking at Ashley with concern in his eyes. She looks at him, then back at the blue hair guy, as if she was contemplating to leave him or stay. But after a few moments, she finally sighed.

"Just go." She said. Kenneth shook his head, he should've known. Slowly, she turned around and walked back to the café with the blue haired guy.

He should've fucking known.
