An Unexpected Love

B2 Chapter 1

Spencer's POV

"Spencer!" Ashley screams my name. I hid behind a pillar. I have no gun with me. If I give myself up she will just keep me as prisoner. I'd rather die than stay with her any longer.

"Spencer! You can't hide from me!" Ashley screams are louder and louder

"After five years, and this is how you treat your wife? Spencer, I'm saying please. Get. Out. Now! It doesn't have to end like this."

Then suddenly everything went quiet. Not a single foot heard, not even her voice.

Then I suddenly hear a gun shot hit my pillar. I start running, I don't know where, but all I do know is to run. Then a gun shot hits near my feet and I just suddenly stop.

"Good Boy Spencer" she says to me. She comes right next to me and puts the gun to my head.

"Just kill me, please" I say pleadingly

"Why would I do that? Spencer, I love you. You'd think I'd kill you? Funny"

"Put me out my misery, I have nothing else to live for"

"You do, you have me"

"You've taken everything from me. My mom, my friends, my wife and my children. You've brought nothing but hell upon my life and I wished I killed you." She looks me at me with such anger. She slowly raises the gun to my head

"Fine, you want to face death. I'll give it to you"
I hear her cock the gun, I close my eyes and then hear a gun shot

I open my eyes and I look around and I see her holding a gun towards us, Emily Prentiss. She shot Ashley in the head. Ashleys lifeless body just lays there in the floor.

I look at Emily with such relief and she comes and picks me off the floor and we walk together back to her headquarters.

We finally get back to her headquarters and we go into her office.

"So five years, you've been on the run huh?" she asks

"Who told you?"

"Penelope" she smiles

"I should've known"

"So what's your plan now? Go back to the BAU?" she asks

"I don't know, I hurt a lot of people and i don't know if I could ever face them"

"I don't know why you did the things you did, but I'm sure if you went back now, they will forgive you"

"You don't know that" I say

"I do know Spencer, I do know that a lot of people love you, and that a lot of people care about you"

"I don't think I can ever face her after what I did" I start to cry a little

"I met her" she says "And your kids Spencer"

"I miss them so much" I say

"Then go back home to them Spence"

"I will"

The next thing you know I was on a jet with Emily back to Virginia. We land near the BAU.
My heart was racing at this point. What will they say to me? They probably hate me. But I put this all on me, this was my fault. There's no one to blame but me. So many things running through my head as we walk towards the front doors of the BAU. The first person I saw, with her peppy self. Penelope. She drops all the papers that she had and hugged me tightly.

"I've missed you soo much!" she says as she still hugs me

Then I see Hotchner, with ever stern face coming down from his office, giving me a big hug.

Rossi starts running towards me and gives me kisses all around my face.

Jennifer comes up to me and hugs me and starts to cry which makes me cry more.

Morgan looks at me with a straight face and it breaks when I walk closer and closer towards him and I give him a hug.

"It's nice to have you back pretty boy"

I'm so welcomed here. I'm so happy then I realized wheres Cathy?

"Where's Cathy?" I ask

Everyone's expression went from happy to worry

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Nothing, she's still here, it's just that she's......" and before Jennifer can say anything else I see her. It was like seeing her the first time. She was holding papers in her hands and she was reading while walking towards me. She was exactly the same, with her long dark brown hair. She's beautiful.

"Cathy" Hotchner says

"Yes, sir?" she says looking up

Everyone was blocking me so she had no idea that I was there.

"Someone's here to see you" he says

"Who?" she asks with such curiosity

Then everyone one by one starts revealing me. And she was in total shock. She dropped all her papers and started to walk towards me.

"Spencer?" that's all she could say

"Cathy, I'm sorry" I say

Tears start forming up in her eyes and she hugs me and it never felt so right to be holding her in my arms again.

"When did you get back? How? Where did you go?" She kept asking me questions

"I'll explain later, where's Alice and Thomas?"

"They're at daycare" she says

"So what have you been up to?" I ask

And before she can say anything, a man comes up to her and gives her a kiss on the cheek and gives her flowers.

"Spencer, this is my fiancé, Micah" She says smiling

And with that my whole world fell apart, she's getting married.
