An Unexpected Love

Chapter 7

(Cathy's POV)

It's been more than a month since Vegas and we've been solving cases non stop. It was exhausting, but It's good to get these people put away. Making the streets a bit safer. 

I wake up at 5 am as usual. But Hotchner calls me and tells me that there is a new intern working there and I have to show him around. So I get ready and head to Starbucks to meet up with Spencer.

I get to Starbucks by 6:30 and spencer is already in line. I get In line with him.

"Hey you!" I say

"Hi! What's up?" he says

"Well Hotch says I have to show around a new intern."

"Who is the new intern?"

"I don't know. I guess we will have to see and find out."

We get our coffee and head to the BAU

I walk threw the doors and Hotch call my name. He waves me to come to him. I walk toward Hotch and I see a good looking fellow.

"Yes Hotch?" I say

"Cathy, this is the new intern I was telling you about this morning." He says

"Ah yes."

"This is Shawn Jacob. Shawn this is our undercover agent Cathy Daniels." Hotch says

"Hi there." I say

"Hi" Shawn says

"I guess I shall start the tour now" I say with a smile

I couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked. But I dint let that distract me from what I'm actually supposed to do. 

"Soo this is the main working area. This is where some of the workers/agents help around. Up there, there is where the team deals with our cases. The three offices over there are Aaron Hotchners, David Rossi, and Jennifer Jareau personal offices. And over here is the break room. And well all we do in here is take a break and maybe have coffee or eat" I tell him

Then I show him the rest of the floors, which took me about 2 hours to show him around. Probably because we walked really slow.

"Soo any questions?" I ask

"No but thank you for showing me around I really appreciate it." Shawn says

"Well you are welcome"

"Soo what now?" He asks

"Well I could introduce you to the team if you would like since you are going to be around them."

"Yeah sure" he says

"Well okay then let's go down."

As we make our way down the elevator he asks me a couple questions

"Soo is the team nice?" he asks

"Yes they are very nice I promise you" I reassure him

"Okay good" he says not so confidently

He starts to fidget and cough a little.

"Hey look it's fine. Don't be nervous. I was nervous the first time and they were all very welcoming." I tell him

"It's just that I'm a shy person and I'm not that great at making new friends" he says

"Well I'll be your friend" I say with a smile

We head to the working area and I see Spencer and Morgan

"Hey guys this is the new intern, Shawn Jacobs. Shawn this is Dr. Spencer Reid and Agent Derek Morgan"
