An Unexpected Love

Chapter 31

(Reid's POV)
We finally land back into Virginia and I start running off the plane. I get into the car and the team rush to the hospital. I couldn't wait to see Cathy and the twins. I can't wait to hold them in my arms. When we pulled up to the hospital there was a bunch of police cars and reporters. They blocked the exit. What were they doing there?

I tried to get passed them to get to my family. I start running all around the hospital and I see Penelope crying her eyes out in the waiting room.

"Penelope!" I say with a big smile on my face

"Spencer!!" She says as she starts to cry even more

"Wh.......where's Cathy's room?" I ask

"Spencer, they're gone."

"What? No th....that can't be!"

"Spencer there was noth......"

"Where are they?!"

"Eric took them"

I start to walk backwards. I couldn't believe what i was hearing I had to see it for myself. I ran out of there as fast as I could. I could hear Penelope screaming at me telling me to wait, but I just kept running.

I saw a room with yellow tape all over the door. I crossed over and I saw two beds. For the twins. Then there was an empty bed. I just leaned against the wall and started to slide down as I started to weep. The team was right behind me and Jennifer looked and broke into tears. Jennifer picked me up and hugged me.

"We will find her Spencer, I promise" she says

I break the hug and I saw a rose sitting on a little table. There was a note on there.

"We are going to be a perfect family"

I got mad at the note. I crumpled it up and pound my fist on to the table. I felt no pain. No more pain than I was feeling at that moment. I was so angry. I grabbed the table and threw it across the room.

"I'm going to save my family and kill Eric" I say as I walk out the door
