An Unexpected Love

Chapter 25

(Spencer's POV)

The day after we arrived in Florida we left and flew all the way to Vegas to see my parents. We first went to go see my mom at the mental hospital. When we finally arrive there I see that my dad was there. I knew because he had the same car for years and never changed it.

When we went inside I immediately saw my parents together. My mom was overly excited to us. I'm pretty sure she was more excited to see Cathy that me. My mother hugged Cathy and I. And there was my dad.

"Hello Mr. Reid it's so great to finally meet you" Cathy says

"Oh it's my pleasure as well! You are very beautiful and my son must be glad to have you in his life" my dad says

"Please sit" my mother says

"So Cathy how is everything?" My mother asks

"I'm wonderful thank you for asking. We have some exciting news to tell you guys!" Cathy says

"What is it?"

"We are pregnant!" I say

"Oh my goodness. So that means I'm going to be a grandma to a baby"

"Oh it's not just one baby. We are having twins!!" Cathy says

"You both are going to be grandparents!!" I say

"I'm soo happy for you both" my dad says

"Me too" my mother says

After talking for hours and hours Cathy and I decided to leave since we had work the next day.

We took a flight back to Virginia and we were safely back at home.

"Spencer can you come here please?"

"Yes what do you need darling?"

"Oh I don't need anything I just want to talk."

"Oh okay"

"Spencer we need a house"

"A what??"

"A house spence"

"But why?? Don't you think it's already perfect where we live right now?"

"It is perfect for only 2 people but unfortunately for us we have 2 new people joining us spencer"

"Let's move into my apartment!"

"It's the same thing as mine spencer. We are getting a new house!"

"But..."

"There are no buts spencer we are buying a house"

"Fine" I say very unhappily

"Well fine if you are going to have that attitude with me, I can buy a new house and raise the twins and dogs on my own okay?"

"Cathy that's not what I meant"

"No that's obviously what you want!!"

"Hey cathy" I say as I grab her and turn her around and kiss her.

"You are not raising them on your on and I'm not upset moving into a new house. It's just where are we going to get the money?"

"I will pay for most of the house spence it's fine"

"But you get the same pay as I do"

"Yeah but do you have parents that have been giving you allowances since you were 7 years old and been saving all the money for 20 years?"

"No"

"Well then it's settled then"

"Wait when do you want to start looking at houses?"

"Maybe on Friday"

"Fine. Since it is for you and you and you." I say as I point at Cathy and the 2 babies"

"Oh let's pick up the dogs tomorrow"

"I almost forgot about them"

"How can you forget about them?? They are apart of our family too"

"I know how can I forget them they are really soft to sleep with"

"Speaking of sleep I need some of that right now"

"Me too"

"I feel them kicking again!"

"Let me feel"

I can feel them kicking. I just talk to them.

"I can't wait to see you guys and hold you in my arms" I say and I start to tear a little

"Ah spence you are going to be a great father"

"And you will be a great mother as well"
