Summer

I stared down at my phone for a few more minutes...

I think we need to take a break....-L😋O😍M💍L💦 2:14 a.m.

Why...?-2:14 a.m.

We jst not working out no more🙄-L😋O😍M💍L💦 2:16 a.m.

I put my phone on the charger without responding to Jordan's message and laid on my stomach. I sighed. I didn't need Jordan or any other boy for that matter. It did hurt that he wanted to leave me so easily especially after every thing we been through in the 10 months we have been dating. I felt a lump forming in the back of my throat.

Why am I crying? I frowned and wipe my face.

I'm positive Jordan's not sitting in his room crying over me right now, he probably doesn't even care that he broke my heart.

I sighed once again and closed my eyes. Hopefully I feel better after I wake up.

I opened my eyes and looked at my digital clock. 7:25 a.m. I rolled over and threw my arms out. I didn't really feel like going to school and dealing with other people's kids and smart mouthed teachers. All I wanted to do was lay here and pout but I wasn't going to let him get me too down and stop me from learning.

I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. On my way to the bathroom I walked past Ty's room and seen she was gone. Good! I didn't need on my case about getting to school on time this morning.

"Aye you going to school?" Sy peeked her head out her room and asked me.

"Yeah, are you?" I motioned towards her dressed in her pajama shorts with a tank top .

"No I'm staying home. Jeremiah is coming over." She smiled. I nodded and walked into the bathroom.

I hopped in the shower and began to wash up.

Jeremiah is our next door neighbor's nephew. He comes over every other week to visit his aunt and uncle but he always makes time to come over and see Sy and I, mostly Sy. I didn't blame him though because he told me when me and Sy were in sixth grade and he was in seventh that he had a crush on Sy.

He never told Sy that though. Crazy thing about it was Sy had one on him too. They would always joke around and say they would be together when we get older but that's all they were. Jokes. I was just waiting on the day they finally spoke up to one another.

I wrapped a towel around myself and walked over to the sink. I brushed my teeth and dealt with my hair.

"What time is it Sy?!" I yelled out the bathroom door.

"7:45!" She came in the bathroom. "What time you leaving?"

"8." I walked past her and headed back to my room.

I jumped when I heard my phone ring. I looked over at my screen to see Ty calling me.

"Hello." I said into the phone and grabbed my pants.

"Where you at?" Ty got straight to the point.

"I'm walking towards the school right now." I lied.
