|One Week Later|
Summer
Here I was, one week after school let out and I was sitting in the house bored. You may be wondering why I'm not with my dad right about now. One word.
Miracle.
She wanted to go on a trip to Disney World with my dad and I but I wasn't really in the mood to be around silicone and weave.
I turned my speaker up louder as the words filled the room.
"Summer, sweetheart, I'm about to go to the mall. Do you want to come with?" Ty asked walking into my room.
"No I'm okay." I shrugged. "I'm not really in the mood to go anywhere."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive." I nodded.
"Alright I love you, see you later, and be safe."
"See you." I waved.
I continued to blast my music for the next 20 minutes.
Before the next verse could start I had a FaceTime call coming through.
My Mans😂💍 popped up on the screen. I smiled and answered the call.
"Hi." Xavier smiled.
"Hey." I said slowly.
"What you doing?"
"I was listening to music before it was rudely interrupted." I eyed him.
"Oh my bad. I guess I'll just hang up and let you finish listening to your music."
"Nooo, the music wasn't even all that anyways."
He chuckled. "Sure."
"What are you doing?"
"Just came from my friend's house."
"Oh, what did you and him do?"
"Uh, it was a girl." He rubbed the back of his neck.
I nodded and poked my cheek with my tongue. "Oh and what did you and her do?"
"We played on her Xbox, we watched a couple of movies and just chilled up in her room."
"And what does 'Chilled up in her room' mean?" I was slowly becoming irritated with him.
"If I tell you, can you promise not to get mad?"
"I don't make promises."
"Summer." He groaned.
"Winter." I mocked his tone.
"For real." He mumbled.
"I guess dude."
