Sy'aire
Thank God it was finally Friday, I been looking forward to this day since the week started.
As of now, Summer was rolling up her morning blunt as I was making us some quick smoothies before we left for school. You know how you have to make sure your sibling is fed and taken care of while your parents are gone, that's basically how I was with Summer.
"Here." I handed her the drink right before she lit the blunt.
"Thank you. You wanna hit this?" She offered.
"Nah I'm still high from the three blunts from last night." I laughed.
"Shit me too, but I need this real quick."
"You and Zay still haven't talked since Wednesday." I sat down.
She shook her head.
"It's nothing wrong with being the bigger person and speaking up first."
"Listen." She blew the smoke out. "Fuck him." She took another pull.
"You know you don't want y'all relationship to end like that sister."
"You right, but I refuse to let this nigga think that I need him, I always fix things first and I'm sick of it. He needs to kiss my ass."
"I guess you're right." I sipped my smoothie.
"You ready for this weekend?"
"Hell yes. I feel like we all need this and I'm glad that Liv is going to be here too."
"Right I miss her so much, I'm mad her bald headed ass momma made her transfer, they was still in the district."
"You know how parents be."
"Yeah but I'm about to go get ready."
"Okay love you."
"Love you too."
----
"I miss you baby." Jeremiah's deep voice spoke through the phone.
"I miss you too. I can't wait for break so you can come out here." I slipped my jacket on.
"Yeah me too. What you doing all that moving around for?"
"I'm still getting ready for school." I giggled.
"Oh sorry, call me when you get home lil' lady."
"Okay baby. I love you."
"I love you too."
I threw my phone on my bed and continued to get dressed.
"Was that your dude?" Raynasia asked me.
"Yes that was him." I sighed.
"When you gon stop playing with his feelings and be my girl for real?" She pulled me back down on the bed.
I kissed her lips and looked in her eyes. "Ray let's be for real, you don't know how to take anybody serious."
She chuckled. "Teach me then." She licked her lips.
"Girl get out my face." I mushed her and giggled.
"You know I don't deserve to be treated like this." She laid back on my bed with her hands behind her head.
"Can we talk about this on Sunday after the girls weekend please?" I whined.
We literally have this same conversation every time we're together.
