Summer.
I watched the girl who they made run around the office all day long, drop one of the coffee cups that she had to remake, once again and shook my head. I honestly felt bad for her and it was crazy to me that she allowed them to treat her like this all day long like she was some type of maid or something for them.
I wanted to help her but they told her that she was not allowed to get any help from anybody. Even though I enjoyed working with Fendi, they were petty and had some over the top ass rules. But we all know I don't follow the rules so fuck it.
"Would you like some help?" I asked startling her.
"Oh goodness, no I can't take it." She shook her head, cleaning up the spilled coffee.
"No one has to know." I said softly.
"Trust me they will." She said rudely and walked out with the remainder cups in her hand.
Alright so much for trying to help people. I shrugged her and the situation off before going in to the lounge to do what I originally planned to do which was heat up my food and get me something to drink.
Today all of the students who were in the internship had to come up to the office for a meeting with the President of our program. The meeting was about us collaborating to design a winter and spring collection since November was slowly approaching. This would be the first time that we were all coming together and this would also be the first time that any of our works would be going out to the public, besides for a fashion show.
There were a total of 12 interns working on this line and we had to come up with 36 pieces of clothing, 18 for each season and 18 doesn't sound like a lot, but when you're working with so many creative minds, it can get kind of hectic. Then on top of the 36 pieces we had to make, we had all to have an original piece of our own and had to put our name to put out with this line, 6 people were assigned Spring while the other 6 were assigned Winter. So in total we had 48 pieces to come up with.
This was a lot of pressure on us because we all had to do this on top of still attending school and completing all of our daily activities. And did I forget to mention this was due by November 30. They would review anything that we came up with right away so we didn't have to rush everything on the 30th, but like I said this would be difficult with all them.
Today was currently October 5th, so we had about a month and half, so let's see how much we can get done. Also they said when we complete this assignment, of course we will earn 45% of our original pieces, even though their our pieces we did them under their label so they own them partially too. Then we will all earn 5% of what is made from the pieces we all collaborate on.
Once my food was done and I grabbed a can of Sprite out of the fridge, I made my way back to the intern office that was for us to talk and to design our materials. The other 11 students I worked attended schools that were located around Georgia also and they all ranged from the ages 16 to 18. There were 4 boys and 8 girls, so there was a lot of debates because the boys thought they had to run everything since they were out numbered.
The boys were Michael, Justin, Troy, and Kai. The girls were Shay, Lily, Spencer, Trina, Victoria, Heaven, Zo and me. Me, Zo, and Kai were the closets because we were the youngest in here, we had the best names, and we had worked the best together so we clicked.
"What's going on?" I said as I took my seat between Zo and Kai.
"Justin is trying to control things already and we haven't even started anything yet." Zo rolled her neck.
"Nobody is trying to control anything, it's called being a leader babygirl." He smirked.
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not your babygirl?" She mocked his voice at the end causing me and Kai to chuckle.
