Taylors POV.

I finish setting the table and hear a knock on the front door.

"Ivory, they're here!" I shout, so Ivory can hear me from the main hallway upstairs.

She had been making all three cats chase one laser light, causing lots of squeals and laughter.

I heard a faint "okay!" and headed to the door. I opened it and there stood my family, all looking happy.

"Hey Tay!" My mom says, pulling me into a hug.

"Hi, mom! How are you?"

"I'm doing great, thanks." She smiles.

We all exchange greetings and then go inside.

"Ivory should be somewhere, I called her down just before." I say, leading them to the dining room.

Ivorys POV

I hear chatter as I come down the stairs. When I reach the dining room I stand awkwardly by the door with May in my arms.

After a few minutes, Taylor turns around and notices me.

"Ivory! This is my mom, Andrea, my dad, Scott and my little brother, Austin."

I nodded, a small smile on my face. I didn't want to say that I knew who they were, that would be weird and slightly awkward.

"Okay, well dinners ready." Taylor laughed and everyone else sat down, smiles on their faces.

I made my way over to the table, and put May down on the floor. She rubbed against my leg as I seated myself.

Andrea sat down beside me, and Taylor brought in the food on their plates.

She put a large plate of cut beef in the middle, a small jug of gravy, and some little bowls that had different cooked vegetables in them.

Taylor then placed three different bottles down on the table, I guessed they were lemonade, Coke and red wine.

"Help yourselves." Taylor said, sitting down in her chair that was right across from mine.

I put a piece of chicken, a few carrots, some peas and a baked potato on my plate. I hadn't had food that looked this good and fancy in ages, and I needed to make sure I didn't eat fast so I wouldn't look like a pig.

"Ivory, what's it like living with my sister? Is she being nice?" Austin spoke, and then laughed at himself.

"Uhm, yeah. It's fun."

As we ate, Taylor, Andrea, Scott and Austin talked and caught up, occasionally talking to me.

"Are you excited for school? Do you know what school you're going to?" Andrea asked me, taking a sip of her wine.

"Uhm, I guess. I haven't really gone to a school in awhile. I was taught at the, uhm, orphanage. I don't know what school I'm going to, we haven't really talked about it but I'm excited to make friends."

Andrea nods and Taylor speaks up.

"I was actually looking around for schools you could go to, and I found one about fifteen, twenty minutes away. It's for celebrities children only, and seems pretty nice. We'll have to go and check it out."
