Taylors POV

We had just finished the last interview of the night, and it went pretty well. Most of the morning shows went quickly, as they asked all the same questions over and over. Ivory was a bit nervous at the start but things went okay. We weren't scared on The Ellen Show, which I was thankful for. The other two interviews were fine, but I could tell Ivory was getting tired at the end.

It was one am and we had just gotten home. Ivory was asleep next to me in the back seat, her head resting against the window.

My biggest worry was that being in the spotlight would change Ivory, and id loose the little positive ray of sunshine. I didn't want her to get any anxiety about it either.

Sometime this week, maybe tomorrow, I wanted to take Ivory to see the school she'd be going to. And if she liked it, I'd enrol her.

There's a lot more to taking care of a child than I thought, but I love it. Even though I hadn't seen Ivory grow up, or even heard that much about it, I was so excited to see her growing up from here.

After nearly all the interviews, I stopped by some fans to say hi and take pictures. Ivory said she'd just go to the car or backstage when I said I'd go say hi, I think she was a little nervous.

I looked at my phone and I had a text from about three hours ago which I hadn't checked.

I opened up my messages, it was from Selena.

sel: hi, you're in Nashville right?

I replied.

taylor: yeah, Ivory is settling in really well.

To my surprise, Selena texted back. Why would she be up this late?

sel: oh good, I wanted to bring Ivory some stuff as a present thingy

taylor: okay! I'm sure you can come around in a few days, I wanted to check out a school sometime for her. What kind of stuff do you have for her?

sel: yes great I have a slightly big thing that I'm sure you'll like ;) and some other thingsssss

Taylor: SEL WHAT DID YOU GET.

sel: I kind of got a trampoline and a really nice skirt and a bag?

Taylor: oh my god

Selena hadn't even met Ivory yet and she already loved her enough to buy her things. To be honest, I was really excited about the trampoline.

The car stopped outside of our house, and I quietly shook Ivory awake.

"Ivory, wake up sweetie. We're home." I shook her shoulder a little and she mumbled something.

"Come on, you can go to sleep again in bed." I said calmly, reaching down and picking up our bags.

Ivory stretched a little, making a cute squeaky noise before rubbing her eyes, causing her mascara to smudge a little.

I grabbed all our stuff and got out of my side of the car, I then went and opened Ivory's door.

"I've got everything, don't worry." I say, taking her hand. She yawns a little and stands up, holding onto my hand tightly.
