The Abandoned town was in sight after two hours of running. Sasuke was some what glad he had a return bottle to give Denka and Hina when they showed up. He wasn't sure if Nekobaa expected to see him again, but it would help if the ninja cat's were friendly.

Sasuke led the way through the tunnels, he had slowed to a fast walk, not wanting to miss the cats if they did come.

"Sasuke, relax, Misa's gonna be fine." Suigetsu told him, though they both knew he really had no idea if she would be.

"Funny seeing you here again." Sasuke sent a silent thanks to Kami as they turned to see Denka, Hina was still a few feet behind him.

"Here so soon, did you run out of weapons and medicine already?" Denka teased.

Sasuke shook his head. "No, I'm in need of Nekobaa and Tamaki's assistance."

"Didja bring any goodies?" Hina asked looking up at him. Sasuke had a little trouble taking the bottle out of his pack with Misa on his back, but he got it out.

"Something wrong with Misa-chan?" The darker of the two asked, his ears slightly flat, he enjoyed teasing the kunoichi and didn't like the idea of her being sick.

"Just a little sick, she'll be fine." Sugetsu assured them, though Sasuke was sure they could hear the lie in his voice.

"C'mon then, let's go see the elder." Denka said. The two men followed as he walked past them leading them to Nekobaa's store.

"Sasuke, back so soon?" The old cat woman asked, as she smoked her pipe, stroking one of the felines, around her,'s fur.

"Nekobaa." Sasuke bowed his head, he had handed Misa to Suigetsu. "I am in need of your assistance."

The old woman looked at Misa, she took a long drag on her pipe before standing. "What you seek help for it not for you, but for Misa, correct?" She asked walking over to the blonde.

Sasuke nodded. "Her eyes are sightless, she needs the help of a woman." He stated.

"Where are your other teammates? Surely that one red head could help." She responded.

"Karin is no longer with us and Juugo has gone on a mission." Sasuke said calmly.

"Misa needing help from a woman is not the only problem you face is it?" Nekobaa asked, lifting one of Misa's hands, pulling the sleeve up to reveal them. Though they were painted red, they were chipped, showing red underneath.

Sasuke tensed at her words but nodded. "Yes, though she only just told me of it, Juugo has gone to retrieve her medicine."

The old woman smiled sadly at the blonde cherishing her cheek. "Itachi only got it a few years before she did. Makes me wonder if she'll last as long..."

"Nekobaa, are you saying it will kill her?" Suigetsu demanded. both men had clearly tensed.

"Boy, their is no cure for the disease, clearly she can not heal, meaning she'll eventually die." Nekobaa responded.

"How long?" Sasuke asked putting an hand on Misa, "how long does she have?"

The woman looked at him. "Could be a year, could be four. It varies with the person's strength to live."

"I'm not as strong as those around me, but I don't plan on going down so easily." The three looked to see her bright grey almost white eye.

Nekobaa smiled down at her. "None do, Misa." She turned away from the blonde. "Tamaki!" It was but a moment before the brunette came out.

"Yes, Grandma?" Her eyes went wide as they saw Sasuke, Suigetsu, and Misa.

"Couldn't you just go hunt down Karin..?" Misa asked, not wanting the younger girl to help her.
