Gaara frowned as he looked around his bed room. He had just finished a meeting and was intent on spending the rest of the afternoon with his almost blind Uchiha. But much to his displeasure, there was no sign of the blonde anywhere in his room.

The Kazekage went to his sister's room next, but there was no sign of that blonde either. His frown deepened and he could almost imagine the two out in the village.

He just hoped Misa wasn't alone with her old team, it was clear that Lee had no intention of leaving Misa with him. He checked the rest of the house but there was no sign of any life, he wondered if his brother had also joined the girls.

His frown only growing as he left the house, he intended to head straight for the shops, but loud noises lead him in another direction.

Gaara crossed his fingers as he saw the huge crowd. "Please don't be them. Please don't be them." He chanted over and over as he made his way through.

His hopes were killed the moment he saw the blind blonde and a certain Hyuuga. He groaned internally as Misa tried to hit him.

What Neji had said, when they first arrived, was clearly tearing the old team apart. Gaara sighed as he used his sand to hold both in place. "Neji, please try not to come into contact with Misa." He ordered releasing Neji, he took Misa into his arms holding her back from attacking.

The hyuuga chuckled as he took a step toward her teasingly. "Doesn't matter if I do. She wont be able to see me soon."

Gaara frowned as Misa struggled harder to get free. "Neji, you can only push her so far, before she finally gets you." He stated turning away from him, Misa still struggling in his arms.

He didn't look back at Misa's former team mate, he kept his gaze forward, intent on getting the Uchiha home without a fight.

"Kazekage-sama, I wont allow you to keep my Misa-chan!" Said red head internally groaned as he stared at the boy in a green jumpsuit and leggings.

Couldn't Misa's old team mates just finish their mission and leave? Lee ignored the frown on his face as he walked toward them.

Gaara had trouble containing amusement as Misa groaned into his back.

"Gaara of the Sand! I challenge you to a spar!" Lee demanded, going into a fighting stance. "Winner takes Misa-chan!"

The Kazekage sweat dropped as he looked at him. "Lee, Misa's already made her choice. She wants to stay in Suna.." He said walking past him. Now arriving at his house.

"I don't believe that!" Lee yelled from behind him. Gaara sent him a death glare before closing the door behind him.

Misa sighed as she tried to look at where Gaara was taking her, though with her thrown over his shoulder, it was practically impossible. Not counting the fact that Her eye sight wasn't as great as it used to be.

"Gaara, where are you taking me?" She asked poking the back of his head.

Gaara smirked at the childish tone in her voice. "My room, where else would I take you?" He asked teasingly.

Misa only seemed slightly bothered as she went almost limp against his shoulder. "Why.....? It's so boring in there....."

Gaara sighed as she trailed off muttering incoherent words. He opened his bedroom door and sighed as he looked into his room. It was starting to look more girly.

He wondered if perhaps this had been Temari's plan all along. To get Misa and Gaara to share a room as though they were a married couple.

The thought quickly made Gaara's cheeks burst with color and he tried his best to made sure Misa didn't see it as he placed her down on his bed and sat beside her.

"Just because it's quiet, doesn't make it boring." He told her.

"Yes it does." She complained as she hid her face in one of his many pillows. She found it kind of funny that someone actually used as many spare as she once had.

Seven. Two to go under her head, two for next to her, or in this case to go under Gaara's head, one on either side of her, or one to her left, Gaara to her right, then the other pillow that should be next to her next to his right. The last pillow was usually what she would hold as she slept, but it seemed Gaara had taken it's place, as it was now under the covers in between their feet.

"You use just as many pillows as me..." She stated randomly, though it was muffled since she laid face down into the fluffy pillow below her.

Gaara couldn't help but chuckle at this as he laid beside her. "That's one problem we wont have if we get married." He acccidentally said his thoughts out loud.

The room filled with an awkward silence, Misa neither spoke not moved, she seemed to be frozen in place. The Kazekage was almost as shocked at his own words and he found himself waiting for her to respond.

But Misa didn't, she stayed still as a statue. At points he wondered if she was even breathing, only the slight rise and fall of her body told him she was.
