My elbow is starting to get hurt because my head is heavy and I continuesly tapped my fingers on the wooden table as we wait for our blueberry cheesecake impatiently. I don't know if it sounds good but for me, it does. The cafe has wooden chairs and tables, brick walled, and very comfortable. It has a touch of modern in the old-fashioned cafe. What's best is that the cafe has an ambiance of nostalgia which makes it very popular. Nicole has been sighing for quite a time now and I lost count how many times she did. We kept asking the staff if our orders are ready and they said yes a lot of times already. Nicole even tried to act cute in front of the waiters and asked them to bring our blueberry cheesecakes as fast as they can. I'm not cute so I didn't do what she did. It is really really cringe-worthy and God knows how much I controlled myself not to slap her face to wake her up. Customers were looking at her and she even used puppy eyes to them. Again, she used puppy eyes to the customers. As if they would give us their blueberry cheesecake. Ha. If they did I could've acted cute too. But they don't so I wont.

I told myself I need to celebrate because of my nomination so I asked Nicole if she wants to eat anything. She said yes and she didn't tell me what she wanted because she gave me the I-want-a-freaking-blueberry-cheesecake-because-it's-been-ages-since-I-last-ate-one-look and to be honest, I kind of know what she felt. She's been my best friend and she's been with me through every hard work. When I got here, I was still depressed and I didn't know what to do with my life that time so I decided to create a blog of my own. She was my biggest fan and she was the one who sent my link to the Big Bosses of Elle's. I practically owe her everything that I have so the only thing I could give her that time was friendship. I told her everything and somehow it lessened the burden in my heart and now she knows everything about me. She became my best friend since then.

"God. This shop has really delicious foods in a very affordable prices but they freaking need to open another branch! Or they could hire more employees! They can almost defeat Starbucks for crying out loud!?" She hissed and I smiled at her. She's right. No offense to the lovers and loyal customers of Starbucks but if you try their blueberry cheesecake in this cafe, you will forget your name. On second thought, don't try the blueberry cheesecake. You can hardly order one.

We both stiffened when we heard a stomach growling.

"Was it yours or mine?" I whispered. Please tell me it wasn't mine. Because if it was I swear I'll leave her here alone. It could've been fine by me if the waiters and staff didn't looked at me with suppressing smiles on their faces but the thing is, they did.

"Mine." She replied. I nodded my head. Good. I told you it wasn't me. It was her. Totally her.

Ugh. I'm happy this cafe is successful but to be honest, we want the time when only Nicole and I are their customers. They served our orders so quickly and they even gave us some treats like free cookies or what. I want those times back and not this crowded and chaotic one. I really hope they'll open another branch soon.
