Taeyeon's POV
There are a lot of love stories out there,sad ones,happy ones and...weird ones?So,I am going to share my love story,which went on for years.It is quite pure I might say,because it was my first love and it was my first time experiencing that kind of special feeling.
It all started from 2013,
Flashback
I feel so sorry right now.I just wanted to dig a hole and bury myself in it.How can it be that I didn't notice him for so long.He must have felt so hurt when I asked him if he was new to this school.Who wouldn't be sad when someone thought that you didn't exist when you have been in the same area as them?
"Mianhae..."I muttered.I hate apologizing,it hurts my pride.But it is partially his fault,he didn't ever greet me or approach me before when he sees me.
"It is okay.I thought you saw me every time when my friend greets you in the hallways. I am always walking beside him."he said.
"Wait,your friend is Park Chanyeol?No wonder I didn't see you,he was so tall-"I cut myself off when I realized that I am blurting out an insult to his height.
"It is not because you are short though,it is just because your friend is too tall.Although you are the shortest among the other tall guys..."I trailed off when I realized I said something wrong again.Why can't I say something right?
"Haha,you are very honest."he chuckled softly.
"So,erm... let's start our introduction again,since we are going to be seat mates for the rest of the year."I said,reaching out my hand to him.
"My name is Byun Baekhyun."he introduced himself while shaking my hand.Byun Baekhyun...what a nice name.
"My name is-"
"I know,it is Kim Taeyeon.I know your name because Chanyeol always greet you by your name."he cut me off politely.
"Ah...that guy knows everyone."I said.
"He isn't called the Happy Virus for nothing."Baekhyun said.
And that was how I met him,Byun Baekhyun.Turns out,he knew me when we were only thirteen years old.I felt so stupid at that time when I didn't recognize him.
Now let's fast forward the flashback,a little further,which is the third month after we met...
"What?!Are you serious?"I hissed.
"Yes,I saw them making out behind the lab."Baekhyun whispered.
"But I thought they were sworn enemies,oh my god!I can't!"I squealed and slammed the surface of my desk automatically.
"KIM TAEYEON!What is so funny about Math that makes you laugh like that?"our math teacher yelled.I immediately stood up from my seat.
"Nothing miss."I said.
"Then,can you solve this problem?I just taught you all a few minutes ago?You will know how if you payed attention just now."she said.I glanced at the question,it is okay as long as I use a calculator.
"You cannot use a calculator."she said when I reached out for my calculator."As I said just now,I taught you all how to solve this with your brain.Were you even listening?"she scolded.
"Yes I was listening,I just wanted to put my calculator back into my bag so that it won't distract me from solving the math problem."I lied.Damn...now how am I going to calculate this with my mind.I am so bad in math.
