Taeyeon skipped as she made her way to Baekhyun's office. Today is their 3rd Anniversary together and she wanted to give him a surprise by bringing a cake to his office to celebrate. She had some connections and she is good friends with his boss, so he allowed her into the office for her to visit her boyfriend for one day.
When she reached his office, she saw three girls crowding outside his door, trying to peek inside his office. Taeyeon stood behind them, trying to figure out why these girls are crowding outside her boyfriend's office until she heard one of the saying, "I think Mr Byun likes her."
"Yah. We should have wore lesser."another girl said, hitting her friend playfully on the arm. Taeyeon glared at them until one of the girls noticed her standing behind them. The girls quickly dispersed, letting Taeyeon into his office.
The girl leaning over to Baekhyun with her bra strap dangerously dangling out of her clothes, looked back at Taeyeon. Baekhyun innocently stared at his girlfriend. Luckily there is a wide desk separating them and this girl is obviously trying to seduce her boyfriend.
"Hey Taeyeon-a."Baekhyun stood up and flashed a warm smile at her, it almost made her forgive him.
"I can't believe this. I baked this cake to surprise you, but here you are flirting with another girl."Taeyeon said as she put down the cake. She was so tempted to throw it in the girl's face, but decided to not to as she didn't want to waste her hard work.
"Wait Taeyeon-a."Baekhyun tried to hold her back, but she had already ran out of his office.
Taeyeon ran and ran out of the office area. She glanced behind her, expected to see him running after her. But he didn't come after her. Taeyeon's heart clenched painfully. If he runs after her, she might forgive him.

"Why didn't you answer your phone?"Baekhyun asked as soon as he stepped into their apartment. Putting down his briefcase and loosening his tie, he walked straight into the living room where Taeyeon is sitting on the couch, sulking by herself.
Silence answered his question.
"Please Taeyeon, you have to understand me. I wasn't even flirting with her."he said, trying to convince his girlfriend.
Silence again...
"Taeyeon-a, talk to me."he pleaded, sitting down beside her and puling away the pillow she was hugging against her chest. Taeyeon rolled her eyes and grabbed another pillow to replace the warmth that lingered in front of her chest. "I didn't do anything wrong."he said.
Taeyeon stood up and walked to her room without sparing a single glace his way, as if he is completely invisible. She slammed the door behind her, shutting him out. Baekhyun heaved a sigh and ran his fingers through his hair.
He admit. It was all his fault. Today was supposed to be a very special day for the two of them. She baked a cake for him, yet he didn't even show her how much he appreciate her. He decided to do something for her, to surprise her and make sure that she know how much she means to him.
He decided to do something he usually doesn't do, which is cooking. He usually prefers to stay away from the kitchen, but now that his girlfriend is mad, that might be the only way to get her forgiveness. After grabbing his wallet and his car keys, he left to buy the groceries. Taeyeon heard the front door closing outside, which means that he had left. Taeyeon pouted as she sat up from her bed. He didn't even bother to knock on the door and ask her for her forgiveness. He just left. Probably to go and meet up with his friends.
After two hours of listening to emotional music in her room, Taeyeon walked out of her room and straight to the kitchen. Her stomach is growling really loud since it is dinner time. She was surprised to see a huge mess in the kitchen, there was sauce all over the counter and a few splattered on the white wall.
"Oh you are finally out."a voice said behind her.
She turned around to face him and was about to tell him off for making such a huge mess until she saw how cute he looked in her flowery apron. She suppressed a smile that was about to appear on his face and stared sternly at him, waiting for an explanation.
"I cooked dinner for you."he said as he took off his gloves. "Your highness."he added, smiling cheekily at her. She rolled her eyes at him and went straight to the dining room.
She hummed and took a seat in front of the dining table as Baekhyun pulled out a chair for her.
"Madam, the appetiser for today is prawns dipped in butter milk."he said as he served the first plate. Taeyeon stared at the plate with a judging look. It doesn't look appetising at all, it looked rather burned, although Taeyeon doesn't understand how it could possibly be burned. "Nice?"he asked when she put one in her mouth.
She just shrugged her shoulders in response.
"I found this recipe in one of your cookbooks."he said as he dug into his meal. Although he didn't receive any response, he still smiled at her warmly before finishing the appetiser. "Next is the main course, white rice with curry chicken."he said as he came back from the kitchen with two plates in his hands.
Taeyeon raised an amused eyebrow at the main course. She had low expectations for him when it comes to cooking, so she was surprised when the curry chicken actually tasted good.
"How do you find it? Tasty?"he asked.
She just shrugged her shoulders again and secretly admitted that his cooking has improved a lot.
"I find it nice."he replied to his own question. "Very good indeed. You did a good job Byun Baekhyun."he said, mimicking her voice and earning a glare from her. He chuckled nervously and continued eating his meal.
After finishing their meal, Taeyeon was about to leave until Baekhyun said that there is still dessert left. When he placed the plate in front of Taeyeon, she frowned as there was only two balls of vanilla ice cream in the middle of the plate.
"A fancy dessert to end the meal."he said, smiling brightly at her.
"Not fancy at all."she muttered.
"Yes! You finally talk!"he clasped his hands together.
"Don't celebrate too soon."she warned him and started to dig into her ice cream. Baekhyun just smiled at her cheekily and stared at her as she eat, not touching his food at all. "Why are you staring at me?"she asked as she took another scoop of ice cream and sent it into her mouth.
"Nothing."he hummed.
She stopped when she felt something on her tongue and quickly spat it out. "What is that?"she asked as she wiped her lips with a tissue and picked up the ring she just spat out. "Is this..."she trailed off and looked up at him, but he was already on one knee in front of her.
"Kim Taeyeon, will you marry me and be my beloved wife?"he asked. "We have been together for three years and I really really want you to be by my side and be my wife. I love you with all my heart, please accept me."he confessed.
Taeyeon stared down at him and engulfed him into a hug.
"Yes! Yes! I do!"she squealed as tears started to stream down her face.
Baekhyun stood up and wrapped his arms around her waist. He buried his face into her hair and cuddled into her neck.
"I forgive you for today."she whispered.
"I love you Taeyeon."he confessed.
"Me too."she said.
