Chapter 5: A Nightmare (Part 1)

I woke up from a nightmare, screaming my head off. My body was shaking and sweaty. I dreamed that his ex came when Danny wasn't here and ate me alive. I got out of bed and walked out of my room. Danny's door was closed. I thought for a moment. Should I disturb him? My eyes looked down the hallway. I really didnt want to be that far away from him. Just in case she did come back. Slowly opening the door, I went into his room.
     He was asleep on his bed and was in his human form. I sat on the edge of his bed and shook him a little to wake him up. He opened his eyes and saw me. "Sam what's wrong?" He sat up. My eyes went to his naked chest. He had abs, almost perfect abs. I've seen seen a human with perfect muscles before. He stared at my eyes waiting. I shook my head, breaking out of my thoughts. "Danny, I'm scared." Part of me was because of my nightmare. The other part was perfectly fine since I saw his chest.

Danny moved the covers off of him. He pulled me into his bed. I laid down next to him. He pulled the covers back over us. "Why are you scared?" He wrapped his arms around me. I felt my heart beating fast. "I had a nightmare." He gently kissed my forehead. His fingers ran through my hair. "You can sleep here with me, if you want?" I nodded. He kissed me. "Don't be scared anymore. I'm right here." He pulled me closer to his chest. I didn't know how I was going to go to sleep with my heart beating fast. I've never been this close to a guy before. He chuckled a little. "Sammy, I can hear your heart beating faster." I could feel my face getting red as I buried it in the pillow. "It's okay." He said still chuckling. I closed my eyes and tried going back to sleep. I looked at Danny again. His eyes were closed. I was a little nervous. My eyes looked at the door. No one was going to come through it. When I went back to my spot, his eyes were open. "Relax. No one is coming to get you. You're safe." I closed my eyes again and tried to think of something else. I just hope I'd wake up the next morning.

I woke up to a very dark room.  I realized I was still in Danny's room. Danny was playing with my hair. I looked at him. He saw my eyes. He kissed me gently. "Good morning beautiful." That made my heart beat. He laughed. I frowned at him. "I like hearing your heart beat fast over me." I stared at him. He kissed me again. His hands went to my lower back. My shirt went up a little bit. His hands were rubbing my bare skin. He was teasing me to make my heart beat faster. He stopped kissing me. He was smiling at me. "I love you." I didn't say anything at first. I felt really bad. I didn't know if I should say it back or not. I saw his face start to change. I think his feelings were hurt. "Danny?" His eyes were staring into mine. "I love you too?"
He smiled a little. "No ones ever told you they loved you?"

"My first boyfriend who cheated on me with my ex best friend." I still hated that he did. Not letting me grieve over my father's death was harsh. My best friend didn't care. She saw it as a opportunity to get me out of the picture.

Danny nodded. "Alkama, is a jealous creature. She thinks in her mind I should belong to her. We were together for so long. I caught her recently in bed with one of her ex's from way back. I had with her and ended things. I would never cheat on you."

I nodded. "I'm sorry Danny."

"Its okay. You didn't have to say it now if you're unsure. I'll wait till your ready." I nodded a little. He started kissing my neck. I was breathing heavy after a few minutes. He smiled into my neck as he kissed it. His hands were on my waist and moving my shirt up a little. His finger tips went across my stomach. My eyes met his. He crawled out of bed. My eyes went to his back. I couldn't believe how built he was.
   Danny put some pants on and came over to me. He picked me up and took me back into my room. He laid me down on my bed.

"Get ready to leave. Okay?" I nodded. He kissed my forehead and left me in my room. I shut the door to give myself some privacy. I quickly got dressed into a shirt and pants with sandals. Danny slammed the door open. I looked at him. He looked angry. "What are you doing?"
