Danny's Point Of View:

They started our their new lives together. They had to get married again, but this time in the human world. Kesha loved it. She made it her own this time. The dress, the venue, cake. Whatever she wanted. But all she wanted was something quiet with one witness. And to have wedding rings this time. Danny thought it was dumb. They didn't need rings to prove they belonged to each other. But he did as she asked. Then they moved into the country side not too far from the city. Danny protected the place so no demon or monster could ever find them again. As far as they knew, they were dead when Maxinus and that annoying human girl died. And it was going to remain that way. Kesha got a job at a dress shop. She helps make the dress and helps girls find the right ones. No one suspected anything. Just a young couple trying to make it in the world. Danny got a job working at a restaurant. He took peoples orders and gave them their food. The human girls thought he was hot. Danny ignored them. He loved when Kesha came in. She would spin him around and kiss him. It made the other girls jealous. He found this funny.

Their house had enough space to breath. They have been living there for a few weeks now. Kesha is happy that she can finally be with him. Not worried about him disappearing or her getting kidnapped. Some days are harder than others. The longest they've gone is a few days that they haven't seen each other. Which messed with Kesha. Her old memories were trying to come through. Danny figured that there's not much he can do if she's away for too long. When this happens, they take a few days off just so he can help her be herself again. Its more time for them. They got the same days off so they could see each other more. They made a few friends. They invite them over for a dinner, or a party. Tonight was special though. Danny made dinner for once. Kesha came through the front door. She went into the living room and put a few dresses down and a couple stacks of paper. She sighed deeply.

"Danny, you might have to eat me by tomorrow." She shouted a little. He went into the same room as her. Kesha looked exhausted. Her eyes said it all. He wrapped his arms around her. "I can't eat a beautiful girl like you. You mean too much to me."

She smiled and kissed him. They went into the kitchen. He lit a few candles and had dinner waiting. She smiled brightly at him. "Danny, you didn't have to."

He smiled at her. She must have forgotten. "Tonight's a special night."

"What's tonight?" She asked.

"One month since we've been married." He likes to count from the one they got in the human world. The one he had when he was king was a rough one. Kesha's eyes lit up. "I've been so busy that I forgot."

Danny walked over and held her in his arms. "Its alright. You're just not allowed to forget the yearly ones." Her eyes squinted at him. He kissed her forehead. Everything was perfect as it could be. They ate dinner. He was finally able to eat in front of her. But his still had to be raw meat. Kesha didn't seem to mind. She was probably glad she wasn't the only one who just ate. Kesha went upstairs to take a shower and change. Danny cleaned up the dishes. Things were different in the human world. But Danny tried to manage. Before everything was taken care of by the monsters. Since they thought they were dead, he was on his own. Once he was done, he went upstairs to their bedroom. Kesha was already laying in bed. She was tired. She loved her job. But when it was busy, it wore her out. He turned the lights off and changed into his boxers. Then crawled in bed next to her, kissing her forehead. She opened her eyes. "Danny?" He gently touched her cheek. "Can you change into your..." Danny knew she missed seeing all his sides. He could taste it in her kisses lately. She said he was a beautiful creature and everyone should except him the same way she does. But it wasn't that easy. Humans get scared and then they light torches and come after his kind. Kesha hasn't asked him. She thought it was a sore subject since he abandoned his kind. It didn't bother him. If she wanted it, he'd do it just for her.

Danny kissed her and changed into his monster form. He pulled her closer to his chest. "Kesha, you can just say it. It doesn't bother me if you ask. It's just you and me."

She nodded and kissed his chest. "Don't leave." She whispered as she was drifting off to sleep.

"I have nowhere to go. I'll be right here when you wake up." His fingers ran through her hair.

Danny was glad it was just them. Forever. They could be together for as long as they wanted. Before he was afraid of Kesha growing old and dying. Waiting another 110 years. But now that she was immortal, she could never die. Which made him happy to know. Kesha opened her eyes. "What happens if someone recognizes you?"
It's not like this hasn't crossed his mind before. With everyone thinking that they died, no one would come looking for them. Plus being in this place for awhile, he hasn't seen a single monster. Most of them probably preferred the bigger cities. Plenty of food and wouldnt be detected.

Danny sighed, "We have nothing to be afraid of. Most monster perfer a place that has a lot of food. And won't suspect them as a killer. Even if one did, no one would believe them." She seemed to accept his answer as she rested her head on his chest again. "Goodnight Danny."

"Goodnight beautiful." She smiled and drifted back to sleep. He closed his eyes. Danny thought about their wonderful future together. Nothing could stop them. They could do anything besides getting old. He knew he would have to talk to her about moving sooner or later. Also she would have to lie about her age so no one would catch on. But those were worries for tomorrow. Tonight, he was going to sleep next to the woman he risked his entire life just to be with. That accepts him. Even if he did try to eat her in the beginning.
