Chapter 13: The Wedding

Danny's Point Of View:

Kesha was gently sleeping on his chest. He couldn't move, not that he wanted to anyways. Kesha seemed to open up to him more and more every day. She allowed him to kiss her. Sometimes he would get carried away and want more. Danny wasn't doing it on purpose. She tasted different. Her scent was so intoxicating. He couldn't help but want more of her and not in a good way either. He had the urges to taste her blood. He fought them off each time. Danny could never hurt her.
      Not after waiting so long for her to be reborn. And now she was getting closer to him. Allowing him to touch and kiss her. She was always in arms reach. They were just laying on the bed talking. Kesha was telling him how the world has changed since he last noticed, which was a lot. She ended up falling asleep on him. He moved her hair out of her face. She was so peaceful. This was very different than the first time they talked. Danny could taste something in her last few kisses. She wondered if he could control himself and not hurt her. She was worried about it. He was trying his best. Danny didn't ever want to hurt her. He would make sure of it. The house was quiet. He slowly closed his eyes. The peace didn't last too long when a loud bang came to the door. Kesha jumped up. Danny patted her back. "Lay down, I'll go see who it is." She nodded and allowed him to get out of bed. The door was still banging. Who could it possibly be now? He growled in his thoughts. He opened the door. Small demons stood there. All black with very little details. Their bodies looked like mush. They smiled at him. Their teeth covered in black mush as well. "Sitheyn?"

He growled at them, shaping into his green monster form. "What do you demons want with me?"

They jumped back, snickering together in tongue rhymes. Danny thought it was annoying. Demons were nothing to mess with. They only showed up when they wanted something. The first one looked at him. "We come to invite you to Teritous's wedding. He is marrying our sister."

Danny stared at them. Most monsters were invited to these kinds of things. He found it odd that Teritous invited him. He must have figured out that he didn't die. "When is it?"

"Now." They spit and snickered.

Danny wanted more information. "You personally invite people?" He raised his eyebrow at them.

They almost hissed at him with disgust. "Not people! Monsters. Except your human girlfriend was invited as well."

Something wasn't right. Inviting Kesha? Why? The demons wanted to enter his house. Danny roared at them. "Watch out with who's property your crossing onto. We shall be there very soon. Now leave." His red eyes met theirs. It was the only warning he was going to give them. They nodded. The second one looked at him. "We shall be waiting." They left in a black portal. Danny closed to the door. He changed back into a human. Running his fingers down his face. He was on edge, something wasn't right. He started walking down the hallway. Kesha was standing at the bedroom doorway in her night gown. It was a  silver gown with lace at the top and bottom. It stopped halfway down her thighs. "What's going on?" She asked half asleep with her hair in her face.

He didn't want to tell her. Danny just wanted to go back to bed with her. He had no choice but to go. He didnt even want to bring her as well. If he didnt, they would be back. All he needed was the demons to hex his house. Or open a portal to end up in hell. Danny scooped her up and gently kissed her. Her heart skipped a beat. He set her down on the bed. "We've been invited to a wedding." He mumbled.

Her eyes lit up. "A wedding? Who's?"

"Teritous's. Get dressed. I don't want those demon's coming back." He growled a little. It wasn't towards her. He was more annoyed at Teritous.

She raised her eyebrow. "Why? I thought he was going to leave us alone?"

"So did I." Danny said annoyed. Her hand touched his face. His eyes looked into hers. He instantly felt calm. His anger and worries washed away. Just by looking into her eyes. Danny shook his head. The distraction was nice but now wasn't the best time. "Please Kesha. We have to go soon." She nodded. Her body brushed past him as she went over to the closet and grabbed a dark purple dress. She went to the bathroom to change. He changed into a nicely tailored black suit from the 1920s. He had it for a very long time. He used it a few times to go on dates with Alkama. He went over to the mirror to fix his tie. Kesha came out yawning. Her body hugged the dress. His eyes couldn't look away. She grabbed purple heels and strapped them on. Her hair and makeup were already done. She threw on some black jewelry, then came over and kissed him. Danny smiled at her. He grabbed her hand as they headed out the front door. A portal waited there for them. Kesha wasn't afraid to go through it. Danny still couldn't help but be amazed. Sammy was nervous the first time. He followed right behind her.
