Chapter 14: Love & An Old Friend

Danny's Point Of View:

Danny took her back to the one place he believed was safe for them. He was afraid to take to the place where she died so many years ago. History can't always repeat itself. Danny would keep an extra eye on her. Kesha was outside exploring the land. He stood on the balcony and smiled a bit. Even in her final hours, they both liked it here. She was in a white almost see through dress with a yellow ribbon on her waist. A yellow bow was in her hair as well. Danny went down there to go find her. He began searching through the gardens. He couldn't find her at first. Danny calmly promised himself not to jump to conclusions. He didn't want to scare her and make her feel unsafe. Something can't happen. He protected this place. He asked a very wise old monster for protection spells. Danny felt a hand on his wrist. He grabbed the hand and twirled Kesha into his arms. She smiled at him. Danny could see it all over her face, she was happy here. "Do you always run around with no shirt on?" She couldn't keep her eyes off of him.

He smirked at her. "You're almost see through." Danny's eyes went to her dress. He couldn't see everything, but it was close to it.

She blushed a little. "I know. I probably should have worn something else..." Kesha looked like she was second guessing herself.

He shook his head quickly. "No, no. You're fine. It's just us here." His arms hung around her waist. "I was only saying..." He lost his train of thought and started kissing her neck. Kesha was breathing heavy. He felt himself about to lose control. Her heart was beating fast. He shook his head, trying to wipe the ugly thoughts away. Danny wanted to be alone with her.
He picked her up and took her back inside. Once he set her down, she raced him to the bedroom. She managed to beat him and locked the door.

He chuckled to himself. He remembered the conversation with Sammy about locked doors. He used his claws and unlocked them. Once he got inside, Kesha tried to run. She was giggling and laughing. Danny grabbed her and held her in his arms. She was out of breath. "Cheating." She puffed out.

He kissed her. "Locked doors wont stop me from getting to you." Danny said heavily. She kissed his bottom lip. He picked her up and laid her down on the bed. Her fingers intertwined with his. Danny kissed her more. She was driving him crazy. Danny was attracted to her gorgeous body. He needed her, wanted her. His thoughts raced. What if it wasn't for her body in the way he was thinking? What if it was his body trying to see her as a meal?

She stared into his eyes. She looked so nervous. So sweet and innocent. "Don't hurt me." She whispered. Her breath was slow and steady. He could hear the pattern of her heartbeat. Kesha pulled him closer to her chest. Her eyes gazing at his body. Her scent hit his nose. She wanted him, just like he did. He kissed her softly. "I'll be gentle with you, I promise." Danny pulled her legs around his waist. Her dress was coming off. He unzipped the back of her dress. Danny was trying his best to not lose control as he slipped the dress off her body. Kesha ran her hands down his chest. Danny was taking in deep breaths. The beating pulse in her body was driving him nuts. Without realizing it, he moved within seconds and grabbed her neck. She was pinned down on the bed. She gasped. He changed into his green monster form. Her eyes didn't leave his. She kissed him for a second. Danny tasted her like he was getting ready to drain the blood out of her body. He couldn't do this. He jumped off the bed and backed away from her quickly. She sat up, confused. He sighed deeply. He felt awful. Why was it difficult this time? Before the taste of Sammy's blood disgusted him. But now... It smelled sweet and enticing. "I'm so sorry. I just.... Never mind. You wouldn't be able to understand it."

Kesha came over to him. Danny couldn't keep his gaze away. Her body was amazing. But he couldn't keep looking at her. Not with the hunger building up in his stomach. He grabbed a shirt off the floor, walked over and handed it to her. He started walking out of the room. Kesha ran over to him and grabbed his hand. Danny turned around. She was covered up again.
