Kesha's Point Of View:

Last night was the worst. My neighbor beat the living crap out of me just because I said no. I couldn't remember how long I was in that state of mind. Most of the time, Danny was there to protect me. This time, he was nowhere to be found. The way I felt, some how felt familiar. Almost like, I was used to getting smacked around. Danny at least healed me up. My body was drained from crying and fighting. This morning sucked coming back to reality. I hopped in the shower and decided to relax just till Danny called me again. Going into the living room, I turned on the tv. On the news, was my neighbor. They said he died in an alley a few blocks over. His body was described as a 'animal' attack. My body slowly sank into the couch. I knew Danny must have something to do with it.
The guy was a jerk. But did he deserve to die? A noise outside my door grabbed my attention. I muted the tv and slowly went over. Looking out my peep hole, nothing. I moved the chain and slowly opened the door. Two guys were standing there. I was very confused. "Um. Can I help you?" They glance around then changed into their monster forms. My eyes widened. Danny sent them to protect me. They quickly changed back before anyone could see. I shut the door. He was trying to make me feel safe after last night. I honestly didnt know how him being king was going to work for us. I headed into the kitchen and made myself something to eat.

Night time came quickly. I had just finished making dinner. I felt bad for the monster guards so I made them something. I opened the door and found them sitting on the floor. I handed them each a plate of raw meat and shut the door. By the sounds of it, they really enjoyed it. Going back into my room, I grabbed the necklace and placed it on my neck. I thought of Danny. It's hard being away from him so much. I only wanted to be close to him. A portal opened up. I jumped up. Nothing happened. Taking a deep breath, I was on edge. I went through it. Ending up on the otherside, it was night time in the oxygen room. It was so pretty. The ceiling looked like stars. The water glistened. I sat by the edge and stuck my feet in. It was cold at first but then started to warm up. A half hour went by before Danny came in. He searched around and saw me by the water. He came over to me with his head down. It looked like he was ashamed. He sat right next to me and was quiet for a few moments before he finally spoke. "Kesha, I killed him."

I shurgged my shoulders. "I kinda figured that one."

"You must think of me as a monster now huh?" Danny seemed guilty. I don't understand why though.

I shook my head. "No. I don't." His red eyes met mine. "I know why you did it." My hand touched his.

He only nodded. "I had a meeting today. Apparently, they wanted this room to go and place it with a indoor lava swimming pool. But I won because I need oxygen also." I was causing a problem. The creatures want to change their kingdom and couldn't because of me. I stared into the water. "I'm sorry."

He raised his eyebrow. "For what?"

"You're only human because of me. You can't even change this place to what they want." I spoke softly.

His fingers gently touched my face. "You're right, I am. And I dont care what they think. You are the only thing that matters to me." Danny wrapped his arms around me. At least I could be with him. My head rested on his shoulder. He moved my hair from my face. Danny turned around. Maxinus was soaked in blood. Danny quickly stood up. "What's going on?"

"We're being attacked! By the mountain monsters." Maxinus quickly ran back up there. Danny opened up a portal. I shook my head. "No Danny. Don't go." I was afraid I wouldn't see him again.

"What if you get hurt? You're human. If you end up getting captured, especially down here, it will make it very difficult for me to find you. Plus you'll die without oxygen. Please just go back." Danny was stern about this.
