Practice

Ivy was walking with Harley to get to class. "I'm excited for practice today!" Harley squealed.

"Me too! But we still have a couple hours until then." Ivy smiled.

"I told you you'd enjoy joining cheerleading."

"I guess I was wrong. So, that's a first!" Harley rolled her eyes and opened the door. They took their usual seats in the back of the classroom next to Wade.

"So, you guys make the team?" Wade asked.

"Yep!" Harley cheered.

"Nice!" Wade highfived Harley. Ivy just glared at Wade. Ivy was never the biggest fan of Wade, mostly because of his perviness. But, she's beginning to learn to like him.

The teacher finally spoke up. "Open your books to page 132." Everybody opened their books except Wade. "Mr Wilson, can you please open you book?" Mrs Houston said through gritted teeth.

"Nah." Wade smiled. "I'll just look at the board." Harley giggled. Wade was sent to the principal's office, and was given a weeks worth of detention.

Harley was being timed by Peter to see how fast she could eat her lunch. "You're so going to regret that." Ivy rolled her eyes and munched on her salad.

"Shska Upth Em Bein timth!" Harley shouted through a mouthful of food. Peter laughed. Harley chewed really quickly and got a drink of her soda, just to shove more food into her mouth.

"What's my time, Spides?" Harley asked, wiping her mouth off.

"2 minutes and 32 seconds."

Harley stood up and cheered. "SUCK IT WILSON!" Wade rolled his eyes.

"So you beat me? I was barely even trying last time.." He grumbled, now just poking at his food.

Harley highfived Peter, who was grinning. He and Harley were getting along pretty well. "I bet you get a stomach ache before practice today." Ivy bet.

"Pshh. I'm like Clark, except my stomach is made of steel." Harley scoffed.

Harley skipped into the gym after changing. Ivy just walked after her. Everybody was lined up. "Alright ladies!" One of the cheerleaders smiled. "Let's do our stretching! Don't wanna pull a muscle, now do we?" Harley immediately began her stretching.

Ivy did her stretching next to Harley. "This is good so far." She said to Harley.

"It's fun!" Harley grinned. After a couple minutes of stretching, Barbara began to speak again.

"Now, I need you all to show me your... Back bend!" Everybody went down into their back bend with ease, and stood back up. "Now.... Toe touch!" Everybody did that, except one girl failed, and fell. "Um, that didn't look like a toe touch." Barbara smiled.

"I-I don't know what happened!" The girl said with wide eyes.

"Show me another toe touch." Barbara growled. The girl did her toe touch, scared of what would happen if she didn't. "Now, ladies, this is a simple one. Show my your cartwheel!" Everybody did their cartwheel. "Hey! Not bad! You guys didn't collide! Now how about you guys show me your front flips and backflips?"

"In air?" Somebody spoke up.

"In air." Everybody did that. "AERIAL!" Barbara began barking orders.

(Small Timeskip)

"And then you guys get down from the pyramid quickly, and you take your pom poms and go; GOOOO ROGUES!" Barbara did a little swirl with her pom poms at the 'go' part, and threw her arms in the air at the 'Rogues' part. "NOW TRY IT AGAIN!"

Once the first row was set up in the pyramid, Harley ran over and jumped onto the second row. Ivy jumped in next to her. Finally they made the pyramid, and everybody was beginning to take it down as fast as possible. Then, they all ran back in their line, and did the little cheer. "GOOOO ROGUES!"

Barbara clapped. "That was good! Now, tomorrow we will learn about talking to the crowd."

Harley grinned and nodded. She began to skip away, until Ivy caught up with her. "So, what did you think?" Ivy asked.

"It was fun!" Harley grinned. "I can't wait for tomorrow! I wanna be able to talk to the crowd! I can't picture it: Gimme a R! Gimme an O-"

"I get it. Gimme a G, U,E,S! Gooooo Rogues!" Harley giggled. "Do we even know who the opposite team is, or who our players are?"

"I bet we'll learn tomorrow." Harley smiled. "But, c'mon! Can we get icecream on the way home? Ooh! Can you sleep over at my house today?"
