A Red Dawn [Part 19]

Ross' POV

Sunlight burst through the curtains of our room. Max's chest was rising and falling and my head rested against it. I stared at him for a couple of minutes and sighed. Max shifted a little bit and I took my head of his chest. "Morning Maxxy" I said. Max smiled and planted a kiss on my lips. We kissed softly but Max deepened the kiss and started to push me into the bed. I felt his hands run up and down on my chest. 

I pushed him off me and stared at him. "I love you Maxxy but God give me some time to recover. I mean you did a number on me last night" I said. Max laughed at me and slid off the bed. He stood up and went to go find his clothes. While he did that I fell back in the bed and thought about what was happening today. I mean nothing bad could happen right Abbadon did say he would give us as much time as we needed. Would he go back on his word. 

Of course my question was answered about three seconds later with an ear-deafening boom come from the sky. I didn't have time to change so I snapped my fingers an new clothes appeared on my body.

(Him being all powerful is convenient fight me)

"Ross what the hell was that" Max said. I ran to our window and everything was tinged red outside. Our house of course was enchanted so we weren't affected by this but I looked into the street and saw things moving. "Max I think we need to go to Jess' Place right now" I said. Max nodded his head and grabbed my hand. We teleported and was greeted by a sword and a clawed hand at our throats. "Guys it's me and Max nothing can get inside Jess' barrier remember" I said.

Jess and Adam looked at each other than shrugged. The put their weapons down, well Adam just retracted his talons. "Ross what happened" Adam asked. I looked out Jess' front door and saw figures moving and fires raging throughout the street. Worst of all I saw regular people in the street running, screaming, and finally getting killed. "I think Abbadon got impatient with us and he sent armies of demons to hurry our decision" I said. I heard a crash come from behind me and when I turned around I saw Max had smashed a table and Jess was trying to calm Max down. 

"Max calm down we don't have time for this" Jess said. 

Max's POV

Abbadon caused a ton of innocent people to become hurt and killed and I couldn't stand it. I wanted to kill him and make him regret all of his decisions. I could hear Jess beside me trying to clam me down but I was so angry. I felt a slap on the back of my head and my anger worsened. I turned to beat up who slapped me but all I saw was Ross standing there a stern look in his eyes. Outside I stood my ground but Internally I knew Ross could beat me with his Magic.

"Max we don't have time for this we need to save our friends and now humanity. Goddammit that sounds so cliche" Ross said. My anger slid away and I looked at the table I had just smashed. I looked at Jess "Sorry for smashing your table" I said. She smiled and pointed a finger at me "Okay but you owe me a new table after this" She said. We all busted out in laughter as soon as she said that. 

I don't if it was because we were all stressed and we needed something to laugh at but we all found it hilarious. Our laughter died quickly though as everything turned grim. "So what are we gonna do to stop this" I asked. I looked at Ross for a plan but he just looked at Jess. "I think Jess already knows our plan" Jess said. We all turned to Jess how held hear head down and then looked at all of us as if her answer was terrible. 

"We need to go into hell and kill Abbadon there" Jess said. Adam looked at her in shock and I stood there still as a statue wondering how the hell we were supposed to get to hell. "We need to make a portal and fight Abbadon ourselves. Inside hell Abbadon should find as easy as that. When he goes to take my powers we need to use any magic that isn't hell based. Now Adam what you could do is use your hell magic and free everyone from Abbadon's clutches okay" Ross said. 

"Ross I don't know how to undo Hell magic with Hell Magic" Adam said. Ross smiled and summoned red chains. He wrapped the chains around my hands. "Adam I want you to unlock these chains" Ross said. Adam stood up and attempted to slash the chains. When he slashed them they chains just shook and there wasn't even a dent in them. Adam growled in frustration and then craved a symbol in the chains with his talons. 

The chains burned with fire and disappeared leaving small burn marks on my skin. "Well I guess you know how to get rid of chains now" I said. Adam stared at me angrily and sat down on the couch. "Adam that mark unlocks destroys hell based things okay. It won't on Abbadon though so don't try that okay" Ross said. Adam nodded slowly and slumped back down on the couch. 

"So when do we go to hell" I asked. Ross looked at Jess how had left the room and had come back with a small knife.  Ross took the knife from her hands and slashed it through the air. "We leave now" Ross said. Where Ross had slashed the knife a small cut was torn in the air and it expanded into a swirling vortex. Before any of us could say anything we were whisked away to hell. 

I opened my eyes to see a barren landscape with only fires around it. Ross, Jess, and Adam stood next to me. We heard laughter throughout the plain and a giant column of hell fire appeared. Out of it came Abbadon and next to him everyone from the office in chains with their heads down as if there were asleep. 

"Hey Abbadon how has you're day been going. Mine has been fantastic except for the part where you sent demons to earth" Ross said passive aggressively. Abbadon smiled and held out his hands. "Sorry Elysium we gonna have to make this visit quick I don't have a lot time." Abbadon said. Ross growled "Twin swords of frost" he said two giant ice swords appeared in his hands and he held them out to Abbadon. 

"So Abbadon let's finish this once and for all" Ross said. 

Abbadon smiled and sent a volley of flaming arrows at us.

Okay guys sorry for updating late I got caught up with stuff. Anyways have fun with the cliffhanger and the next chapter will totes be the final fight. Okay guys see you tomorrow and remember
