I don't Know anymore [Part 12??]

Max's POV

The next day we decided to go back to work. Ross and Tim were already in the car but I got up late so I took longer than usual. When I got in the car Ross had his head in his hoodie and Tim was staring into empty space. "Um are you guys okay" I asked. Ross didn't say anything and Tim just slowly nodded his head. Okay I thought. Tim started the car and for fifteen minutes we drove in awkward silence. When we got to the offices Ross ran inside and Tim sat in his chair. 

"Okay Tim what happened You and Ross are acting really different today" I said. Tim turned to look at me and in his eyes was just pure anger. I held my hands in defense and got out of the car. There was something weird about walking into the offices. Me and Ross had been doing our own things helping Adam out and it was enjoyable but the office setting we were in now just felt weird. Maybe it's time for a change of pace I thought. I just shrugged and headed to my station for some editing. 

I edited and edited and the offices just got more uncomfortable. I decided to take my mind of it but heading to Ross' Office. I knocked on his door only to get no response. I couldn't see into his office cause the blinds were covering his window. I opened the door myself and was blasted by a wave of cold. Inside Ross was in his chair crying and little snowflakes were falling and melting on the ground. I walked over to Ross and he looked up at me. 

"Ross are you okay is something wrong" I asked. Ross looked up at me with tear-stained cheeks and slowly nodded his head. "M-Max I w-w-an to leave the offices and d-do m-m-my own thing" Ross said. He sounded so hurt like I would attack him but I gave him a hug. He sounded surprised but hugged me back. When I pulled us apart Ross almost started crying again but I wiped away his tears with my sleeve. 

"Ross I'ts okay I was kinda thinking the same thing" I said. Ross smiled a bit and gave me another hug. "I was afraid to tell you cause when I told Tim he got really angry at me and said I was leaving because of you" Ross said. I held Ross close in the hug and never wanted to let go.  We heard a knock on the door and voice on the other side. "Ross are you in here. It's me Adam" Adam's voice said through the door. Ross pulled apart from me and waved his hand. The snow that was falling immediately stopped and disappeared the temperature also returning to normal. Ross walked to the door and opened it. 

"Hey I was- Ross are you okay" Adam asked.  Ross looked at me afraid to say what he wanted but I spoke up for him instead. "Adam me and Ross want to leave the offices and pursue our own thing" I said. Adam stared at me and Ross confused but slowly I saw his eyes glow red. "I thought we were good now why do you want to leave" Adam said. His eyes were now completely red and his pupils slitted into demon-like eyes. 

"Adam calm down you cant turn into a demon here" I said. Adam glared at me and his nails elongated into talons. "Why do you want to leave you had so much fun here. Dammit WHY WHY WHY" Adam yelled. The air in the room started to get hot but then everything just stopped. Adam was till yelling but a voice from behind me spoke up. "Time stop" It said. I turned and saw Ross his eyes glowed gold and time just stopped I could still move but Adam was frozen. Ross sighed and Time returned to normal. 

Sunshine came from my hands and calmed Adam down. "Adam I know this is a lot to take in but please me and Ross had fun doing our own things we just want to continue that" I said. Adam sighed but nodded his head. "Okay I understand and it's okay I trust that you two can take care of yourselves but will you still love with Tim" Adam asked.  Me and Ross looked at each other and shook our heads. "Adam I think we take a break for a little while. We're not cutting you out of our lives but we need sometime to ourselves for a little bit okay" I said. Adam smiled at us and gave both Me  and Ross a hug. 

"Okay then I tell everyone your decision and you two can get your stuff and go I promise everyone will understand" Adam said. We thanked him and gave him another hug. "Now go on you two get out of my office" Adam joked. We laughed and got our things together. We got in the and drove back home. When we got there we left our stuff inside the car and just sat on our couch. 

Me and Ross cuddled each other with Ross' head on my chest. "So Maxxy what do we do now" Ross asked. I ran my hands through his hair. "I think we should look foe a place of our own Narwhal" I said. Ross laughed "I guess we should Maxxy." 

"I love you Ross" 

"I love you too"
