Who are you?[Part 3]

Ross' POV

I woke up from my sleep that lasted heaven knows how long. Adam was looking concerned at me but the other man that was here was a blank space for me. I felt like I should know him but I couldn't place where I've seen him before. Even in this room I felt like he meant a lot to me but I know nothing about him. I kept thinking and thinking until my head hurt but I couldn't remember him. I tried as hard as I could but eventually I only got a name. 

I looked at him slumped in the chair his head in his hands. "Max" I said. He looked up from his hands and into my eyes. "Ross what did you just say" Max said. Adam was looking at me and Max like I shouldn't know what his name was. "Your name it's Max right" I said. Max had his mouth open but it quickly turned into a smile and he gave me a hug. "Ross you remember me oh my god you actually remember me" Max said excitedly. I pushed him off me since I didn't know who he was and he looked back at me surprised. 

I shook my head at him and the happiness he had quickly went away. "I'm sorry Max all I can remember is your name nothing else. But I want to know why only you are erased from my memory" I said. He sat in his chair slowly but smirked. "Okay Ross you may not remember me but I promise you I'll find out what happened to you and restore your memory I promise" Max said. He sat in his chair and opened a laptop he had and started typing furiously at the keys. I looked from Max to Adam who looked angry but when he noticed me looking at him his emotions quickly changed.

He smiled at me and gave me a hug. "Adam how long have I been asleep" I asked. Adam sat down on the hospital bed I was in and patted my leg. "Are you sure you want to know Ross" Adam said. I nodded and Adam breathed in deeply.  "Ross you were in a coma for three months" Adam said. "What three months I no it felt like I was asleep for a few minutes it can't have been that long" I said starting to panic. My breathing hitched and the walls in the hospital started to feel like they were closing around me. I breathed fast and short like I was breathing through a straw. 

I heard something shut quickly and felt arms wrap around me. Everything slowed down and I felt a peace come down on me and calm me down. When I came to I saw that Max was holding me and I was crying. "Max" I whispered. HE held me close and everything felt calm and relaxing. When Max let go of me I stared at him and Adam was staring open mouthed a quick flash of anger went across Adam's face but went away quicker. He walked out of the room leaving me and Max alone. "Max I know who you are but how" I said. 

Max looked around the room and sighed. "Ross my entire life I was hiding something, but I couldn't tell anyone but now I guess I can tell you" Max said sadly. He held his head down but I put my hands on his shoulders calming him. "Max whatever it is I promise I'll never think different of you" I said. He looked up at me with meaningful eyes and stood up. He walked to the windows and shut all of them making sure no one could look in. "Ross I can do things other people cant" Max said. I laughed jokingly but it became nervous after a couple of seconds. 

"What do you mean Max like you can get angry faster than most" I said nervously. He turned to look at me and held his right hand out palm up. In his pal I saw a little red light then it quickly became a small fire. I gasped but stared at it in awe. "Max what is that do you know like magic or something" I said. He shook his hand and extinguished his flame. "I don't know what it is Ross but you could call it magic yes" Max said. I stared at him but then smiled brightly "Well then I guess that makes two of us" I said. 

Max's POV

At least he didn't freak out calling me the devil like my mother did all those years ago. But back to the real question what did he mean that makes two of us. "Ross what do you mean that makes two of us" I asked. He smiled but started to frown. "Max what are you talking about" Ross said. I walked to him and felt his forehead. It was hot and cold at the same time. "Ross don't freak out okay" I said. Ross nodded his head and pressed my hand against his forehead. I concentrated and mentally pulled something out of his mind. 

When I opened my eyes in my hand was a purple spider on it's back twitching. Ross stared at it in horror and I threw against the wall. When it hit the wall it disintegrated into purple smoke and disappeared. "Max what the hell was that thing" Ross said scared. I put my hands in front of Ross and warm sunshine poured out of my palms calming Ross. Birds chirping and trees swaying in the winds could be heard throughout the room. I usually did this just to calm people. I stopped and Ross was sitting there calmly in his bed. I sat down next to him. "Ross someone was tampering with you memories but I don't know who. That spider thing was blacking your mind from some memory thy don't you to remember" I said. 

"Max I feel funny does it have something to do with that spider" Ross said. He swayed and fell onto his pillow. I tried to wake him up but he refused to wake up. I shook him several times over  "Dammit Ross please don't fall into another coma I don't know what I could do if that ever happened again" I said scared. Suddenly Ross shot up screaming. I tried to use my power to calm him but it wouldn't work. As quickly as he started screaming he stopped and stared at me. He smiled at me sadistically and he opened his hands cold foggy mist came out of them. I gasped and backed away from Ross. 

Ross got out of his bed and the mist lingered throughout the Room. "Who are you" I asked Ross who was obviously not Ross. Not-Ross chuckled and the mist went to Ross hands solidifying into a white blade in Ross' hands. "Well Maxxy you can call me a friend for now. I'm not here to kill you just give you a message and show you what Ross here can do" Not-Ross said. The mist blade that Not-Ross held evaporated back into mist then disappeared into the air.

"What do you want body snatcher" I snarled. Not-Ross laughed sadistically and smiled at me. "Your friend Adam is hiding something you might want to find out soon before things get out of hand. Before I go it might help you to know that Ross here can control those elements like you can it's been a while since he used them though so you might want to show him the ropes kay. Well I gotta scram before my boss gets mad bye love" Not-Ross said then Ross slumped to the floor. 

He opened his eyes slowly and looked into my eyes. "Max what just happened" Ross asked. I smiled and pushed his glasses back onto his face. 

"Well Ross you have to go back to school and I'm your teacher" I said.

Well guys hoped you like the chapter. The next one probably wont be as long so don't expect long chapters every day okay. I don't know what I solidly want to do with this story yet but I hope you like it so far. Remember though
