Tendrils' light [Part 21]

Max's POV

The darkness surrounded us there was nothing left except the black inky depths. I felt Motionless I couldn't see anything. Dark and cold was all I saw and felt. I didn't see anything that could tell me where I was and I didn't feel anything to help me find my way through the darkness. The dark it was horrible and alien. I felt like it had invaded my world full of light and extinguished it. 

The light it was warm and loving. I wanted to feel it's warmth and love and hold it next to me. But the dark was all that remained. I was alone in this abyssal plain of darkness. I tried to move but I couldn't move it was like something was holding me down keeping me from doing anything. I fought against the unknown grip and I could somehow sense my hands open and waiting for something to do. I concentrated and concentrated and slowly light filled the dark room. 

But as soon as the light came the dark came back and swallowed the light. I was trapped again in this prison of darkness. I wanted to break out but I didn't know how. Until I saw a green wisp in the distance. It seemed so familiar like I had seen it before. Then it hit me. Ross healing magic he used on me. He left some of his magic within me so my eyesight could come back. That Magic that was left made my right eye turn green and my brown eye swirled it together having my right eye have to different colors within it. 

That green light I knew it was Ross. I concentrated on the familiarity of Ross and imagined him here with me. My eye burned and I almost fainted from the pain. It was burning and awful but yet also comforting. The magic burned with such passion I almost enjoyed it. (Almost). I opened my eyes and felt something next to me. I turned my head and saw no one but yet I could feel Ross with me. I felt his familiar warmth and embraced it. 

I used his warmth and love and used all my willpower to summon the light which I had lost. 

Ross' POV

The darkness faded away and all that was left was an open field with a clear blue sky. I turned my head and saw nothing for miles just a grassy plain and the sky above us. In the distance I saw smoke rising. I ran to the smoke and when I arrived there was a crater in the ground. In the bottom of the crater surrounded by smoke lay a Man. I ran to him and pulled him out of the crater. 

I hadn't gotten a good look at first but I noticed ginger hair. "Oh my god" I whispered. How did this happen he shouldn't have died I thought. I stood up and screamed at the open sky. 

"THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IT ISN'T FAIR" I screamed. My anger burned within me and used all my willpower to not destroy everything here. I heard something move beside me. I looked down and Max was turning over obviously in pain. I knelt down and placed my hands on his forehead. His eyes moved under his eyelids. I placed my hands over his eyes and transferred my energy to him filling him with life.  

His eyes fluttered open and I smiled "Nice eye" I said. and started to cry. "Why are you crying dummy I'm the one in pain" He joked. His eyes gleamed with life and his right eye swirled like a vortex of brown and green. I punched him on the shoulder and his hand touched his shoulder. "Oww dude what the hell" Max said. I punched him again and pulled him in a hug. "You idiot I'm crying cause I'm the one who put you in pain" I said. 

"Ross shut up It's not you're fault got it" Max said. "Now" he stood up and held his hand out for me "Where are we" Max asked. I looked around and realized why this place seemed so familiar. "I think this is the dimension I created and use for training I Might have subconsciously put us here to heal us or something. I think our minds are here though an we might be in a coma back on earth" I said. Max looked around and grunted. 

"So when do we go home" Max said. I opened my hand and a Rose flew out of it. We watched it flutter in the sky and rose twirled in the air Rose petals falling from it. The rose petals swirled around and a portal opened. "I guess that's our ride home" I said. I grabbed Max's hand and we walked back to our home.
