—Ultimate Perceiver Mattea Li's POV—
I don't know why, but...I feel like squealing...! Ms. Light spoke! I don't know why, but her voice sounded like music to me. I mean, it's normal to feel like that when you hear someone who doesn't speak much speak, right? Right?
Anyway, back to the trial...
"And it was..." Ms. Light stretched her arm and pointed at... "Elias DeActeur."
"W-what?!" he exclaimed in shock. "How can you be so sure about that?!"
"Mattea..." Ms. Light called. "Tell them." Eeek! She called my name! Wait! Focus, Mattea!
"Tell them what?" I tilted my head in confusion. I thought for a second and... "Oh! I know!"
"W-what is it?" Mr. DeActeur stuttered. "You don't have enough proof that I killed her!" I could tell that fear was present in his voice.
"We have enough proof, Mr. DeActeur," I told him. "It could only be you that killed her..."
"Oh yeah! How?" he demanded. "How could've been only be me?"
"There's still may things that we want to hear from you, Elias..." Ms. Light told. "Michiko, persuade him."
"H-huh?" Ms. Michi questioned. Ms. Light must've caught her off guard. "O-okay then..." Ms. Michi then cleared her throat. "It would be best if no one disturbs me and everyone cooperates."

—OPERATION PERSUASION—
After that reminder, Michiko glared at Elias. "Elias DeActeur..." she said in a chilling voice.
Elias must've been scared too since he flinched and is sweating so much. "W-what is it?"
"You killed her, didn't you?" Michiko asked, straight to the point.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about!" he stutteringly exclaimed.
"You averted your gaze, Elias..." she commented. He averted his eyes? I didn't even noticed. "And all this 'I don't know what you're talking about' statements... The ones who tell them always ends up admitting that they know something..."
"Oh yeah!?" Elias yelled. "Tell me, why would I kill someone, huh?"
"To get out of this place, of course..." Michiko answered. "Isn't that what you wanted?"
Elias muttered words that I couldn't hear. Surprisingly... "No, eh?" Michiko heard and repeated what he apparently said.
"W-what? How did you hear that?" Elias nervously asked.
"You see... I have heightened hearing too," she replied. "Any whispers, mumbles, and mutters will be heard. So explain, why did you say no? Are you admitting that you killed her?"
"Hehe...hehehe... You're such an idiot... I didn't kill her..." Elias laughed darkly. "I... I didn't expect this to happen..." He whispered the last sentence... Still audible quite audible and it confuses me... Why did he say that?
