Chapter 5

Kester's POV:

So I meet this girl na nakabanga ko during our vacant time. I bought her another sandwich and guess what it's my favorite sandwich too but nag order lang ako ng iba baka masabi niya na copycat ako.

As a sign of gratitude kasi hindi talaga siya totally nagalit sa akin ihahatid ko siya sa kanyang room. Nothing special but by then I just feel really comfortable with her. I smiled at her and do some breezy gestures like what guys normally do. But I think hindi naman tumatalab.

"Kaye.."

"What?" with a bitchy face or a face that says The heck I care of what you're gonna say.

"Can I ask for your number? Promise hindi kita I-tetextmate." I told her.

"Che, anong tingin mo sa akin easy to get? You have to earn it but you could add me at facebook though." She said and nagwink sa akin.

Hard to get ka pala ha! Tingnan lang natin!

"Okay Kaye! See you around." I beamed her with a smile and kissed her cheek.

Hindi pa rin tumalab ang breezy gesture ko. Let's just see about that . . .

When it was about to get dark I added her on facebook at na accept naman ko ng mga 1 hour kahit alam ko naman na active siya nung mga time na I added her. If you're gonna ask why I know well. I have connections *wink*

Ako: Hi Kaye :) You look beautiful sa iyong profile picture. Okay lang ba kung i-love ko yung prof. pic mo?
Siya: Mambobola ka talaga. Ba't nagtatanong ka pa. Edi i-love mo. Go lang ng go.
Ako: Kung i-lolove ko yung prof. pic pwede ba kitang ligawan?
Siya: Ang dali naman . . .
Ako: Isang tanong, isang sagot lang Kaye.

The next day..
So the COURTING GAME begins now . . .

I bought her flowers and waited for her to enter her room and there she goes. I gave her the bouquet of flowers and whispered at her ear that I'll meet her at lunch.

Then lunch time came . . .

She was with her friends Jayme . . . Ohhh, my best friend's crush.
Desiree? The one that Cristoff was talking about? Well.
and Akemi . . . Hmmm, is she the Akemi that Jacob and Charlie was fighting over the other day during our soccer practice?

Whoah she has cool and tough friends, this is not gonna be easy.

So I told my best friend to be with at the most special table that my secret connection designed for this day to come. When Kaye was approaching my best friend started to play the guitar and I began to sing . . .

"Kaye Ramirez, can I be your suitor? Because just like what you said I have to earn it." I just whispered at her ear.

She was in the state of shock.

And everyone was looking just the both of us. Kinikilig yung mga tao.

"Okay Kester, you could be my suitor . . ." Sagot niya

The next few days ginampanan ko naman yung role ko as her suitor. Hinahatid ko siya kanilang bahay at ako narin yung sumusundo sa kanya patungo sa school para sabay na kami.

I  planned something special for her birthday.

I bought sparkly stuff kasi gusto niya yun. I took her to a very special place at Manila yung nakakastar gazing kami together. Simple but special yung night na yun super duper happy kami. Nagkukuwentuhan at nagtatawanan. I thought that I was good at playing games that never will i lose but with this COURTING GAME I think I lost it.

I'm in love with her now . . .

"Kaye, I . . . Love . . . You." I suddenly spoke those words.

"Naku Kester ha tigilan mo ako sa I love you mong yan. Alam kong pinaglalaruan mo lang yung feelings ko na rinig ko kayo ni Dave nuh! Sinabayan nalang kita at masaya naman pala." Sumbat niya sa akin.

"But Kaye this time I mean it." I said.

"Prove it Mr. Noel then I'll believe you." She said.
