First Innitial Feeling
A few hours later everyone was having lunch. Stevie tucked her book into her bag and got up from the couch to go get something to drink. She looked up to see Carol Ann sitting beside Lindsey across the room while he played guitar. Just flirting up a torpedo. He mainly ignored her, nodding his head once in a while while concentrating on the strings, clearly unamused. She waltzed over to them with a grin on her face. "Hey Carol!"
She looked up at Stevie looming over them draped her layers and layers of chiffon. "Would you be a doll and go do a drink run? I''l take a scotch, Mick wants his heinekin and Chris said she wants her Blue Nun!" She smiled. "Lindsey, would you like anything?"
"No I'm good thanks." He smiled back at her obvlivious to another one of Stevie's bitchfit's taking place. Win for her. "Here." Stevie said holding out a $100 bill, get what you'd like and keep the change."
Carol got up and took the money out of Stevie's hand shooting dagers at her as she left the building. Another win for Stevie. Stevie took a seat take to Lindsey where Carol had been sitting. "Stevie, we already have tonnes of drinks in-"
"Oh really? I didn't know." She lied,
"Well! You can never have too much booze!"
He smiled. She was so cute when she was jealous and lying to cover it up. He was confused though. Stevie was married to Mick, the boss. So why would she make it seem like she were interested in him, and if she was why was she? All he knew was that she was one hell of a girl! An hour later everyone had came back in and Carol had arrived with the drinks and everyone sat down.
The next day Christine and Stevie arranged for a shopping day; just the two of them. Christine knocked on her door around noon and Stevie answered greeting her with a hug. They left the house and were drove down to Rodeo Drive. They got out and went into the first store that caught their attention. They walked in the store that was filled with blouses and skirts all in a variety of pastel colours. A cream coloured silk blouse caught Stevie's attention and she drug her over to the rack. She searched for her petite size and also grabbed the mathcing scarf. They went to the change rooms and Stevie got Chris' opinion on the top. "What do you think?" Stevie asked, stepping out of from behind the curtain and twisting infront of the mirror.
"Maybe a size smaller." She offered.
Chris came back a moment later with the same shirt a size smaller.
"Perfect!"
"Good! Let's get it."
After Stevie paid and they left the store they began walking down the street again and a jacket in a boutiques window caught Christine's eye. "That. That is brilliant!" She ushed pulling Stevie in this time. Sure enough the found the denim jacket in Chris' size and Chris put it on over her tank top. "You don't think the studs are too much?" She asked.
The jacket hit just above her waist and the collar was undone decorated with silver studs for extra flare. All the buttons were undone and fit her perfectly. "No, not at all! Now twirl!"
Chris did as told and Stevie smiled in approval. "God damn it Chris! You're such a knock out!"
Christine chuckled. "I'll take it then!"
"It's nearly 2:00 p.m. how about we get some lunch?" Stevie suggested, following Christine to the counter.
The lady behind the register smiled. "Hello ladies, cash or credit."
They both smiled as Christine lay down her debt card. "Sure. I think I saw a resteraunt across the road on the way in!"
"Great! Let's go check it out!"
