The Ones Who Run Away

Stevie sat on the couch with Christine as she held Lucy in her lap. They heard yelling coming from the studio and looked up to see the studio's door fly open and Lindsey casually walk out with his guitar on his back. He walked right out the front door without looking back. Mick came outa few seconds later enraged, running his hands through his hair. Oh god. She hoped Lindsey didn't tell him. "Mick, what's wrong?" She asked innocently.
"He quit on us."
She was even more suprised to hear that. "He what?"
"He's gone, he quit!"
"What! Why?" Chris chimed in.
"I have no fucking idea! He just said he wanted to go solo now. He kept repeating that it was best for everyone and that he was just in the way. Whatever the hell that meant!"
Stevie looked to Chris. Now it was all Stevie's fault that once again, Fleetwood Mac was without a guitarist. Stevie handed Lucy to Christine and got off the couch to compfort her husband. "Mick, it's okay. We'll find another one. He'll be better. I never liked that one anyway." She said putting her arms around him.
"He couldn't even stay until the end of the session to do vocals! All we have is guitar and more guitar!"
"Well, you better go tell John to start brushing up on his vocals." She joked.
