Colton dreamed of Earth. He'd somehow snuck into a transporter and traveled to the foreign planet. Transporters were human sized but he managed to shrink and stay shrunken long enough for the journey. Once he'd walked off he realized no one could see him. So with no eyes on him or ears listening to him he grew back to his full height, towering over everyone and all of the buildings.

He walked throughout the streets of the busy city; sky scrapers even taller than him rose up high in the sky. As he walked it was as though he was completely transparent. Cars drove into his feet and people walked right through him as though he was made of air. Like he was a ghost in these haunted lands. The Colton in the dream didn't seem too affected by that fact though.

The place seemed oddly familiar but he couldn't remember where he'd seen it. Each step he took seemed to be taking him somewhere. He didn't know where but his feet and guided him along.

A couple of people sat on a bench at the park. Colton crouched down and observed them from about ten feet away. He didn't know why he was watching them. They were just a few humans.

The man stood up off the bench and reached into his pocket. 'A gun!' Colton thought immediately and started to rush forward to help the other humans away from the crazy man.

But when he reached out to pull the man away he grasped nothing but air in his fist. The man dropped to the ground on his knee. What was he doing?! Did he just shot himself?

Colton backed up to get a good view of what was happening.

He held a tiny black box. The woman, who sat in front of him, was smiling happily from ear to ear with tears coming down her eyes.

"Yes! Yes!" she cried out and the man jumped to his feet and the women jumped up into his arms and they held eachtoehr and kissed with such a passion, Colton felt ashamed for looking.

The man pulled away and lowered his now fiancé to the ground. She still cried happily and examined the ring he'd placed on her finger for a better look.

"I love you, David." She gave the man's cheek a kiss and held his hand as they walked down the parkway.

And the dream ended. Colton woke up and looked at the clock ticking loudly in the living room. It was 7:30 in the morning. The smell of breakfast had woken him up.

A smile grew on his face and he licked his lips as he smelled the air. It was so thick and potent you could practically taste it just by inhaling. The familiar sound of sizzling and eggs on the pan, the smell of slightly burnt toast just the way he liked it, and orange juice so fresh you could smell from room to room.

His smiled disappeared when he looked around. The living room, he had slept on the couch. Nellie was mad at him. He didn't like her being mad at him, for anything. And if that meant he'd have to get down on his hands and knees and beg for forgiveness- even though he didn't see what was so upsetting about what he said to her- and tell her he was wrong and didn't mean what he said.

She was a softly, she'd bound to forgive him soon enough. They were going shopping today, it'd be kind of impossible to avoid each other there. 'Would she say she didn't want to go?' Colton thought with a jolt. It could happen, it'd be easy enough. Taking a guy shopping with you is still a weird thing under normal circumstances.

But he really wanted to go with her. See how cute she'd look in pretty new tops and how amazing her legs would look in a pair of shorts or skinny leg jeans. He NEEDED to go with her. it would be the only time he'd truly have alone with her outside of the house to talk to her without her being able to walk away and ignore him.

A piercing scream erupted from somewhere in the house and Colton shot up to his feet. Nellie.

The screaming continued. He ran over to the stairs and was finally at the source of the noise. It was inside the tiny hallway of stairs inside the wall, connecting the second and first floor with a human sized stairway. The long tiny staircase was visible through the glass windows that lined one whole side of the human stairwell.
