"First years Gryffindors follow me, quickly!" A bossy ginger tall boy shouted, Ginny soon told Shannon that it was her older brother Percy. Shannon and the other first years ran after Percy at a fast past towards the Gryffindor common room. They soon reached a huge room with multiple stairs moving around leading to different corridors. "Be cautious of these stairs, as you can see, they like to move! Now come on, hurry along!" Percy warned carefully. He led them up the stairs to a large painting of a large woman in old fashioned clothing. "This is the entrance to our common room, this everyone is The Fat Lady. Our password is Jammy Dogders. Remember it, don't tell any other houses. Jammy Dodgers." Percy informed. The portrait swung open revealing the massive warm Gryffindor common room. " Welcome to the Gryffindor common room, girls your dormitory is to the left, boys the same to your right. All your things are in your rooms already."
The Gryffindor common room had a very strong colour scheme of crimson red and gold and had a medieval tapestry on the one wall. It was very cosy with a fire place, bookshelves, sofas and arm chairs. "Shannon, come 'ere. I'd like t' introduce ye t' some people." Seamus called. Shannon walked over to him and followed him round the room to meet some fellow Gryffindors. "Firstly, t'is is Lee Jordan. He does commentary for Qudditch." Lee Jordan smiled. He had short dreadlocks and dark skin and chocolate brown eyes. "You've met me friends Dean T'omas and Neville Longbottom." Dean and Neville gave her a hug. "T'is is Fred and George Weasley." Fred and George both had fiery red hair anc cheeky smiles. They both shook her hand. "This is Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley." Seamus introduced. Hermione was very pretty. She had long light brown bushy hair and a wide smile. Ron had fiery red hair like the other Weasleys and a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you Shannon." Hermione grinned. Seamus finally dragged her to the other end of the room to meet the last person, but of course, she already knew his name. "Finally, t'is is Harry Potter. The boy who lived an' all t'at." Seamus explained. Harry looked up from his books and into her eyes deeply. "Pleasure to meet you, Seamus' been banging on about you all last year." Harry said back chuckling. Seamus' cheeks went pink. "Yeah... Well I'm goin' t' talk t' Dean.See ye l'ter 'Arry." Seamus spoke leaving his sister with him.
Harry patted on the empty seat next to him indicating for Shannon to sit by him so she did. "So, I must ask, what's it like being Seamus' sister?" Harry started. Shannon laughed quietly at his curiosity. "It's really not t'at bad. He's a little sweet-heart our Seamus." She admitted kindly looking at her brother. "Yeah, he's a nice guy. You know, when Seamus described you to us, I'd never imagined you would be as pretty as you are." Harry winked. Shannon felt herself blush. She giggled. "T'ank you." Harry beamed making butterflies erupt in her stomach. He was gorgeous. His eyes were a light green colour and his hair was coal black and quite long. His circular black glasses sat comfortably on his nose. His famous red lightning bolt scar was just visible underneath his fringe. "Lessons start now, what do you have?" Harry wondered casually standing up and putting his hands in his pockets. "Charms." Shannon replied nicely in her sweet Irish accent. "I'll walk you there."
"Slytherin first years follow me! Don't get lost!" The prefect called. After leading them through many corridors and up the moving stairs, which he explained about briefly, they reached the entrance to the common room. "Okay, our password is Chocolate Fingers this year, don't forget! Keep it to yourselves!" The brick wall passage way opened quickly to reveal the vast Slytherin common room also known as the Slytherin Dungeon. The prefect pointed out their dormitories before leaving them to it. The Slytherin Dungeon had a bold colour scheme of dark green, black and silver. The room was very comfortable and had a relaxed atmosphere. It was full of black and green sofas, armchairs, snake models and it had a grand Victorian fireplace. Chloe desperately looked for somewhere to sit and eventually she did.
Shyly, Chloe made her way to a fair skinned young girl with light brown long hair which was tied up and a sly smile on her face. " 'Cuse me miss, would it be okay if I sit next t' ye?" Chloe wondered politely. The girl scowled and ignored her. "I don't t'ink you heard me, may I sit t'ere ma'am, please?" Chloe asked again. The girl rolled her eyes and nodded. "T'ank ye. I'm Chloe Finnigan by t' way, first year, what about ye?" The girl glared at her rudely and snapped for no reason what so ever when she answered "Pansy. Pansy Parkinson. Second year. What do you want?" Chloe felt taken back and confused at her attitude. "I just wanted t' make new friends, t'at's all." Chloe told her back nicely. "Well. I don't want to be friends with someone with a stupid voice and can't speak properly." Pansy sighed. That upset Chloe a little. "I can't help it. I'm Irish, from Dublin." Pansy groaned and scowled once more. "I don't care. Why are you here anyway you freak?" Freak, that one hurt like a knife. Chloe tried to hold back her tears. "T' hat put me in Slyt'erin." She explained calmly. Pansy snorted. "You don't belong here. You should be in Gryffindor with your idiots of Irish siblings. That's where you belong, with the freaks. Especially because you're half blood. Disgusting." Pansy laughed harshly. Chloe felt tears roll down her cheek. Pansy couldn't stop laughing until a boy stopped her.
"Leave the beautiful lady alone Pansy." The boy spoke confidently glaring at her fiercely into the eyes. "No. Mind your own business Draco." She retorted back. 'Draco' looked extremely angry with her. "Can't you see she's upset? Leave her be you horrible cow." He yelled. She shrugged carelessly. "Or what...? What are you going to do about it Draco...?" She shouted back sarcastically. "Don't even go there. You know what I can do." Draco snarled. Pansy looked frightened and stormed off. Chloe wanted to know what was so serious about Draco's threat but at the moment she didn't care, this random gorgeous guy just stuck up for her. He was perfect. His skin was slightly pale and it was matched beautifully with his light blonde hair that was swiped to the side. His eyes had a unique and mysterious grey colour to them. "T'ank ye for all t'at." Chloe smiled appreciatively. "You're welcome. I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy, second year." He smirked shaking her hand sending an electrifying feeling through her veins. "I'm Chloe Finnigan, first year." She informed him warmly. "You're a very pretty girl, what lesson do you have now?" He flirted. Chloe thought for a second. "Herbology." She beamed back blushing a little. Draco looked pleased as he was smiling widely. "Great. I'll walk you there." He winked making butterflies take flight in her stomach.
