Connor woke up to his alarm. He then realised how much he really dreaded going to school that day and how he would rather just hide away from everything at that moment.

He got out of bed quickly nonetheless knowing school started in half an hour. He took a shower, he settled then for a plain white shirt with his favourite brown leather jacket over it, black skinny jeans and his black converse. After struggling with his hair for a good ten minutes he gave up and decided to just leave it flat.

He walked up stairs to get some breakfast, he settled for a bowl of cereal. He leaned against the counter and ate till he saw on the kitchen clock that if he didn't leave soon he would be late for his first day. As he walked out the front door, Kate came from her room down the hallway and leaned against the wall, glaring at him as he left.

Connor started quickly down the down the street from just being slightly scared of Kate's presence, the morning was surprisingly gloomy for Perth and the spring morning breeze flowed through his hair. Connor was walking at a steady pace, keeping to his own thoughts till he heard his name being called.

"Connah! Wait up!" heard a familiar accented voice come up behind him, he smiled at the way his name was called. He turned to see Troye and a younger looking boy and girl behind him.

"Hey," he said coming to Connor's side. "I know you prefer to walk alone but we are going to the same place anyway. This is Sage and Tyde, my younger siblings,"Connor smiled to the younger teens earning theirs back and found he was not really annoyed by this like he thought he would be since solitude was what he normally preferred, but something about Troye's presence was fine to be around and something Connor would not admit was that he actually felt happy by the Australian boy's presence.

The four of them walked then the short route to school. Connor then realised how much he really was not looking forward going to school that day and how he would rather just hide away from everything at that moment.

Tyde and Sage walked behind Troye and Connor talking about all the teachers and being excited to see all their friends. Troye and Connor on the other hand walked in silence. Connor thought back to the dreams he had about that pair of blue eyes and oblivious how Troye was think the same over his green ones.

They came up to the school and Sage and Tyde left to go to where they were meant to be. Troye and Connor had the same teacher for homeroom, Miss Helbig. So thankfully for Connor, even if he would not admit it, he was happy he had Troye at his side to take him there.

The two walked into the classroom. Troye went in first and was greeted by two girls and another guy.

"Ah! I missed you Troye!" squealed two girls while hugging him. With another guy coming up and joining their group hug. Connor stood there awkwardly and started to walk to the back of the class to take a seat just for Troye grab him by the wrist to introduce him to the small circle of friends. Connor tensed up very quickly by the motion, and out of habit and quickly jerked his hand away. The group didn't seem to notice, but Troye definitely did and slightly widened his eyes fearing he hurt Connor in some way.

"This is Connor," he started with Connor walking up to them. "He is from Minnesota."

"Hi I'm Zoe!" squealed a petite girl, shorter than Connor, with dark red lipstick.

"I'm Louise!" squealed the blonde haired girl, the other guy however came to him and took Connor hand in his to shake it.

"Hey I'm Alfie," he said.

Connor noticed their accents and was later told by Troye they were from Britain but moved to Australia for their various reasons. The group chatted for the rest of homeroom till the bell went. First up was math with Mrs Hart. Connor was dreading this, he had always hated math and he was also alone in the subject, everyone else he met that morning were in other classes.
