Troye lay in his bed on a late Friday night. The past week had been difficult for sure without Connor but he was letting it slowly sink in that he most likely would never see him again.

Connor had left no way to contact him. Troye went through all his social media accounts and Troye left DM after DM but they were left untouched.

Troye now sat going through them all over again. Maybe he had tweeted something, posted something but nothing... he went through his likes, posts and tweets all made in that past week. Is he ignoring me?

Troye had not let one tear fall since he came out the Friday before to his family. He was still on a metaphorical high from it all, happy that he had nothing much more to hide and he was treated no different by anyone in the house and that he was very grateful for, not everyone got that lucky and he knew that.

However tonight Connor's image was too strong on his mind and as one slow tear fell down the side of his face, more fell after. They were silent but fell fast. He put his phone on his bedside table and wiped the sides of his face. Then two soft knocks were laid on his door.

"Come in," he said careful to not let his voice crack.

"Hey Tro? I thought that-" Sage stopped in the middle of her question, her brother's blotchy face being now more important than her question. "Oh Troye," she whispered, letting her hands fall to her sides and walking over to his bed to sit next to him.

"It's nothing. What was your question?" she ignored his persistence to get off the topic that led him to let tears flow and hugged him as he sat up.

"Connor?" she whispered into his ear, he simply nodded and let a new waterfall of silent, hot tears land into her soft hair.

"Please Sage, talk about something else. I-I just don't want t-to think about him," he pleaded. Sage nodded and proceeded to ask her question about school and Troye feeling grateful that she was so understanding.

They spoke for a few more minutes till Troye's phone started ringing. He took it from his bedside table and was an unknown number. He was just about to slide answer but it stopped ringing.

"That was strange," he said.

"Who was it?" he shrugged.

"Unknown number," he said to her staring at the number left in his recent calls.

The next morning Troye needed to breathe and clear his thoughts. He decided on going to his thinking spot at the lake and just watch the running waters for a while. He walked out the house unnoticed and made a beeline to the spot he had last been... with Connor.

He came past Connor's former house and saw the for sale sign now in the front. Kate's car now also absent. He is really gone. Troye thought to himself, but he pushed the thought away and quickly carried on walking.

He soon got there and sat down on the large rock and stared out to the flowing waters. He skipped a few stones and just let his mind roam. That was still he was interrupted by his phone. He fished it out from his pocket and saw the same unknown number from the night before. One who had actually called him a second time the night before and now he quickly answered it before they hung up again.

"Hello?"
His heart stopped. His body fell silent besides saying to himself before he wouldn't hang up this time.

"Hello? Who is this?"
His mouth opened but could not vocalize. He didn't know what he was doing.

"I'm sorry but whoever this is it's getting annoying that you keep calling, please don't call this number again."

He hung up the phone, slightly ticked off. He thought again over Connor. He knew he had to let him go. He had no idea how, but knew he would never meet someone else with Connor constantly on his mind. Troye now found his sadness turning into a form of anger.
