They say time flies and it sure did. To Troye it feels like just yesterday he had started high school and started such an important chapter in his life, a chapter that shaped the person he was forever, but all for the better in the end. Troye soon found himself shorter than Tyde as he shot up out of nowhere and he found Sage becoming more and more like a young woman each day. He saw Steele less and less as he started gaining a family of his own and his parents may have aged, but remained youthful within their souls.

Troye knew his high school years were difficult but he was appreciative of them and regretted nothing, and now he stood in his room for the last time. He stared at the now bare room, the walls naked of the hundreds of poster and Polaroid picture, his bed now stood with just a simple navy duvet and his head board looked strange without its string of fairy lights.
Today was the day Troye was leaving home, starting a new chapter in California. He wasn't going to be all alone however; Zoe had made it into the same college, they had applied for the same one. The plan was to pick up Zoe up soon and they would be off to the airport with Troye's parents, Sage and Tyde going with to see Troye and Zoe off.

"Troye come on! You are going to miss your flight!" Tyde called from downstairs. Troye took one last look around his, now former, bedroom. He smiled, so many tears shed here, so many laughs and so many emotions in between were held within these four walls. He took one last breath and put on his back pack and made his way downstairs.

"Let's go!" Troye said excitedly down the stairs. The five of them led out, Shaun placing all Troye's luggage in the boot.

"You ready my boy?" Laurelle said from the front seat, Sage, Troye and Tyde in the back, Troye sitting between his siblings, his heart pounding with excitement and nervousness.

"I guess I am," he said smiling widely to his mother and her grinning back.

As Shaun backed out the driveway, Troye turned to look to the house he spent just about his entire life inside one last time. He turned back around as it fell away from his view and took a deep breath in and releasing it even slower.

"Damn I'm gonna miss you guys," he said reaching his arms up and hugging each of his siblings to his sides, giving them each a kiss on the forehead.

"Just promise to keep in touch?" Tyde asked just making sure, Troye and Tyde being now closer than ever since Troye had ended junior year, the year Troye and his family thought changed him most and taught him most. It was the year he really embraced who he was and did something about the things he didn't like about himself. After junior year Troye only went up, his grades became straight A's and his social life had become a lot more interactive, he found himself with more friends in senior year and was still going to keep in touch them, but not just the new ones but also the old ones that had never actually left his side. He even managed to get to music lessons again and began to find his passion for music grow more and more, Troye felt life could only get even better. But not everything was perfect of course, what life is perfect?

Connor had become a distant memory, they never got to reconnect again and Troye felt like if he holds any anger for anyone it would be for Connor, he felt Connor had ruined any good idea Troye had for love and promises, he swore to himself that he was never going to give up on anyone ever again after what he had experienced with Connor. That was the majority of the reason Troye reconnected with his own friends and made new ones. However Troye deep down, even if he won't admit it, still wishes Connor and him were still at least friends. But he tries to forget the boy, and he really succeeded too, his family and friends never bought up the matter, the only one who ever tried would be Sage but she was shot down by Troye every time say to her, "he is only a memory now Sagey"....

"Troye the boy!" Zoe squealed as they squashed up more into the limited space, but fit perfectly as Zoe was so petite anyway.

"Zozeebo!" he squealed back. "This is happening, this is actually happening," Zoe made a squealing noise again and similar to Troye took in a deep breath as they drove away from her house and down the street, now off to the airport.
