I get up and get ready, i put my hair in a side braid and walk downstairs to see my brothers, my dad and Zoey "Angel? Look i'm sorry, i drank last night and i couldn't keep myself" Ryder says and i shrug "look, it's okay i know it was my fault that mum died and maybe it won't take long for me to leave either" I say and Alec hugs me
"Don't say that Angel, you can't leave me" He says and pulls away from the hug "But that's exactly what Ryder wants" I say "I never said that" Ryder says "But you were thinking it Ryder" I say and just go to my dad "Hey dad, i'm going to Sophias house after school okay?" I asked and he nods
We leave to school and the car ride is very awkward between me and Ryder "Angelina I'm so-" Ryder starts and i hold my hand up before turning up the music, i park the car and turn down the music "Get out" I say and they do "Okay" Ryder says and leaves "Hey can i talk to you?" Alec asks and i nod
"Did you slip last night because of Ryder?" Alec asks and i look down then at his eyes "You did, didn't you Angel" Alec says and i nod slowly "Where?" he asks and i pull down the side of my short to show him my scars
He doesn't say anything, he just hugs me "I'm so sorry for what i did to mum" I say and let the tears fall "It wasn't your fault" Alec whispers and i sigh "If she didn't try to save me, she would still be here Alec" I say and he pull away from the hug
"Look, everything happens for a reason okay? Mum wanted to protect you like she always did, that's why that happened, Angel you don't have to blame yourself because of this, mum wouldn't want this to happen" Alec says and i nod
"Try have some fun tonight with Sophia, sleep over at hers and go out okay? I'll tell dad" Alec says "I'm not in the mood for it Al, plus i'm 16 i'm not allowed to go anywhere" I say and he hands me three fake ID's one for me, one for Ethan and one for Sophia
"It's Friday have some fun and I knew you would need they one day, plus you need to start partying a little, even Sophia does. But promise me you won't take this too far and end up sleeping with someone" He says and i chuckle "I won't, and if i decide to go I will tell you " I say and he nods before kissing my forehead "Take care little sis" He says and leaves
I get out of the car and start walking in until i am grabbed my someone and slammed against a locker "Hey babe" Taylor, my ex boyfriend and part of Alec's group, "what do you want Taylor" I ask and he smirks "I want you" He says and i roll my eyes
"I told you i don't want you anymore, plus you dumped me for some slut, so why don't you go to her?" I say and he chuckles "I want you" he repeats "Look Taylor, i have finally moved on from you and i'm finally happy, i'm not going to let you use me again. So why don't you find yourself some slut to fuck and leave me alone" I say and push him before walking away
At Sophia's House
"So you wanna go out or stay home eating ice cream the whole night while watching sad movies?" Sophia asks "Actually, we could go to the beach at night, have a drink and talk before having fun in the water" I say and she smirks "Good idea" She says and high fives me
"Mum, me and Angel are going to meet Ethan, don't wait up for us" Sophia says and walks out with me behind her "Have you called Ethan?" I ask and she nods
We get to the beach and sit down at a random space, since it's night the beach is a deserted place "It's so nice out here at night" Sophia says and i nod, i take a deep breath and let the nice chilly breeze cool me down "GUESS WHO'S HERE" Ethan says and sits down with a bottle of vodka
"You got the good stuff" I say and he nods "i got it from Isaac" He says and i smirk "So what is the first shot dedicated to?" He asks and hands it to me "The first shot is dedicated to how much Ryder hates me for being alive instead of my mother" I say and take it
"My first shot is dedicated to Sarah cheating on me with Angels ex Taylor" Sophia says and takes the shot, Sophia isn't straight either, she's bi "My first shot is dedicated to my parents leaving me at an orphanage as a kid to get beaten everyday until i got fostered by Sophia's parents" Ethan says and takes his shot
We start taking shots until we dry up the bottle "Wanna take a um swim?" I ask drunkly and they nod, i run to the water and dive straight in, the water was so cold that it made me come to my senses "Damn, i'm drunk"i say as Ethan and Sophia run in
"So are we" They say before diving in "You know we should go back home and have some ice cream" I say and they nod "Who's sober enough to drive?" Sophia asks and i raise my hand "I didn't drink as much" I say and they nod
We start driving and i start speeding "Angel, you're going a bit fast" Ethan says and i chuckle as my vision start getting blurry "I'll see you soon mummy" I say "ANGEL LOOK OUT" Sophia shouts as everything goes dark
