First Love

I don't know how long we held each other and cried outside the gates of the cemetery. I don't know when I fell asleep in Jungkook's arms. I guess my body had just shut down on me.

Jungkook noticed I wasn't moving anymore. Nor was I sobbing or trying to hit him repeatedly out of sadness or anger. He took hold of my shoulders and held me away from him to see if I was okay. My head rolled to the side and Jungkook felt a moment of panic until he realized I was still breathing.

"Thank God." He whispered as he let my head rest on his shoulder again. He sighed and pulled me into his lap, adjusting me so that I sat comfortably. He stared up at the clouds that now covered the sky that earlier was a pretty baby blue. Now it was just gray. He hoped it wouldn't rain for my sake. I always got sick easily and he didn't have an umbrella.

"Leena did you walk here by yourself?" He asked knowing he wouldn't receive an answer. He felt tears run down his cheeks as he thought about how terrified I looked when I had turned and saw him. "I should've let you finish before calling your name." He said aloud to basically no one. "But... everything just hit me all at once. I said it before I realized. Why did it take me so long?" He asked angrily. "I knew all along but when did I forget. Leena, why didn't you tell me?" Jungkook looked down at my head resting on his shoulder. He noticed the tears and coldly chuckled. "You're such a baby, and I left you to cry by yourself this time..I'm sorry."

He pulled me back once more and cupped my face as he studied it.

"No way. She's an ugly girl and ugly girls will always be just that...ugly."

"You say that, but you're always staring at her when she's not looking Jungkookie." Jaejoo stopped reading his book for a moment and watched little Jungkook stare at a little Leena asleep on a pillow next to Jaejoo's thigh.

"Do not." Jungkook protested, though his eyes never left my sleeping form.

"Hmm, I think Leena is very pretty now and when she grows up she'll be even prettier and your going to fall for her big brown eyes and red cheeks." Jaejoo brushed the hair from my face and watched my eyelashes flutter sleepily over my round cheeks as I began to wake up, though still not aware of the conversation being had between the two brothers. "I'll have to fight you for her then."

Jungkook eyes softened at the renewed memory. "Hyung, you were right." He murmured. "She's much prettier now. Even when she's crying over us. We can't even have a fair fight now. And she's already said she loves Namjoon hyung... I remembered too late. "

He felt the tears again. He wanted to say they had stopped but he knew they hadn't. He was just to preoccupied with looking at the girl that slept infront of him.

He remembered my features from when we were children.

(A/N: random third person view here I'm sorry I just don't know..)

Her cheeks had slimmed down but they were still just as soft and just as pink in his hands. He remembered her tanned skin that she disliked as a child when she lived in Korea but she wasn't born here nor didn't any Korean blood running in her. He silently hoped she had grown to like being in her skin. Her eyelashes were untouched by makeup but as long as ever and her lips were full and a deep dark pink, not quite red though.

Jungkook found his eyes lingering there.

"How did I forget my first love?" He chuckled. "I remembered everything but you. I'm sorry." He found himself leaning towards me slowly, not thinking about the action he was about to do out throughly. All he could bring himself to say was. "Sorry hyung." Before pressing his lips to my sleeping ones.

He didn't know to which hyung he was apologizing to, but he was just as oblivious as I was to Namjoon watching us from some feet away with his shoulders slumped, not knowing how he should react in the moment. Namjoon decided to head back to the grave and wait for us to return.

In his mind he wasn't sure we were going to.
