"W-where are we going?"
"Shh, you'll see."
Namjoon was tightly holding my hand and he walked me around the Busan streets. He looked thoughtfully at the street signs as he navigated.
It was night time and the stars were very bright. There were so many too. The moon was big too. I took my time staring at them
"Yah this is the time you're supposed to look at me and think lovely thoughts." He pouted as he pulled at my hand.
I laughed at Namjoon. "Mianhe Oppa."
He blushed and turned away still dragging me around.
"Oppa is so handsome."
"..."
"Oppa is also really talented."
"..."
"I wish Oppa-"
"Aish yah! Are you trying to kill me? Hajima." He whined.
I laughed at how red Namjoon's ears were from my teasing. "Cute."
"Hajima~"
"Namjoon where are we going?"
"You'll see."
I pouted and squeezed his hand. "I don't wanna see~ I wanna know."
"Stop pouting." Namjoon stopped to squeeze my cheeks. "I promise it'll be good."
I stuck my tongue out at him though he just rolled his eyes and continued to navigate the streets
We ended up at a coffee shop that still had it's lights on.
This late at night though?
"Hey Namjoon-ah.."
"Shh I'm trying to make up for the crappy way we first met."
"Isn't that my job?" I asked with a laugh.
"Nope."
I rolled my eyes as he opened the door.
"Hello?" He called.
"Oh hello~"
"Thank you so much for staying open a little later than usual." Namjoon said with a bow. The old women was looking at me though.
"Oh my goodness Leena is that you?"
I looked at the familiar old woman with a smile. The years had seem to have gotten to her, but her eyes were still as kind and young as they had been.
"You know her?" Namjoon asked me.
I nodded. "My Mama used to work here for her." I bowed to the old women. "Ahjoomah I'll be in Busan for a while. If you need any help I will be here."
She touched the side of my face. "You look just like your mother."
"Thank you."
"So what do you two want to drink?"
"Apple Juice." I said cheerfully.
"One caramel macchiato and an iced americano please."
I pouted at Namjoon and squeezed his hand. He just chuckled in response.
She gave us one more smile before going behind the counter.
"You're just everywhere aren't you?" He asked me as he leaned on a table. Immediately he knocked over a nearby chair and fell back against the wall. He hit the back of his head on the wall and he groaned. I kinda just stood for a second lost as to what just happened.
"A...are you okay?" I asked as I walked and reached up to touch the back of his head. Jesus he's tall.
He picked up the chair and sat down.
"Yeah that's a normal thing actually."
I laughed. "And here I was thinking you were smooth. Do you need ice?"
"No babe it's okay." I frowned but sat down next to him.
"I was everywhere as a kid here. Busan is big but in this general area I was well known because I was the little dark foreign girl toddling around," I chuckled a little. "Speaking awful Korean."
Namjoon just sat and stared at me intently while I went on and on until our drinks were brought to us.
"Kamsamida." We both bowed before leaving the coffee shop hand in hand.
"I missed it here." I murmured as I held the thin straw between my teeth.
Namjoon squeezed my hand.
"Maybe you can come back more often and we can just meet here?"
"Maybe." I mused. Everything had forced itself into the place it was now which was relatively good if I was to be honest with myself.
We walked in silence at a slow comfortable pace. Namjoon shortened his steps to mine so he was rocking a little awkwardly but it was cute.
"Beach!" I cried as I let go of his hand. I hurried down the stone steps and slipped of my converse. While I was undoing my shoelaces Namjoon caught up and stood behind me.
"Just ditched me for the ocean huh?"
I looked up at him. "Mianhe Oppa."
He shook his head with an amused chuckle. He picked up my empty cup.
"Wow you're already done?"
I shrugged as I lined up my shoes on the step. "I drink coffee like water."
"And I'm guessing you drink Apple Juice like fine wine."
I nodded like an excited little kid to which he just laughed and ruffled the curls.
"Good thing I brought this."
He pulled out a big juicebox of apple juice and I squealed excitingly.
"Yayyyyy." When I reached for it he put it over his head. "Yah Kim Namjoon!"
He tapped a finger on his lips. I pouted and he just closed his eyes waiting for it. I got up on my toes and presses a kiss on his cheek.
"That's not what I said."
"To be fair you didn't really say anything." He nodded at that.
"True." He said still holding the juicebox over his head. "But still."
I kissed his jaw and blushed as I reached a hand out for the juicebox. I refused to look him in the eye. I felt like I was going to fall to my knees in embarrassment.
He looked darkly down at me and pulled me in to place a kiss on my neck that made me shiver from the closeness. It tickled.
"Here." He said giving up the juicebox.
"Yaaaayyyyyyyyy." I cried out in a whispered and continued to do so until I had the straw in my mouth.
"It's cute how happy that makes you."
I stuck out my tongue at him and he pinched my cheek.
We sat on the steps and listened to the ocean ahead of us sparkled in the moonlight but still looked dark and ominous.
"What are the chances of me swimming now and getting eaten by a shark." I ask Namjoon as I leaned my head on his shoulder.
"Very unlikely. But the chances of you getting sick are high so I vote against it." He rested his head on top of mine and swirled the remainder of his drink in his hand.
I looked up at the pretty little stars in the night sky.
"Same sky, same earth, same gravity..."
Namjoon pulled me closer to his hip.
"Same distance."》》♡《《.
