Akako's smile faded as she looked at Kakashi. If he was surprised or impressed by her skill, he didn't show it.

She motioned for Sakura to come out of her "hiding" spot and stand next to her.

"Why did you grab two Akako-chan? You only need one..." She was cut short as Akako handed her one of the bells.

"There's a reason I asked you if you wanted one Sakura-san."

For the rest of the afternoon, Sakura and Akako sat in the middle of the clearing, waiting for lunch to come around. Sakura tried to pass the time with small jokes here and there, attempts to make Akako smile. Sakura eventually settled for messing with Akako's hair.

As the girls took their leisure time, Sasuke and Naruto were still attempting to retrieve a bell from Kakashi.

Akako had noticed that as soon as Naruto had gotten out of the first trap, he had someone how ended up in another one only seconds later.

Akako wasn't paying attention enough to know all the details of what was going on, but she did know that Kakashi kept stealing glances at her from behind his book.

She took pride in knowing that her soon-to-be sensei was interested in her ability. But there was also something strange about his gaze, she couldn't quite put her finger on it, so she pushed it out of her mind.

Naruto and Sasuke were still at it when it was almost lunch, Akako and Sakura were begining to think they would be the only two passing.

"Akako-chan?"

"Yeah, Sakura-san?"

"Do you think Sasuke-kun will be able to get a bell in time?"

Akako's hands balled into fists, of course he would, he's Sasuke, but she didn't want to say this.

"I don't know. Maybe he needs a little encouragement "

"Sasuke-kun! You can do it!" Sakura began cheering on Sasuke.

Almost lunch time and they were still without a bell. Naruto was determined to get that bell, but before he could devise a plan that might work, Sasuke had gotten the last bell.

"Well then, Sasuke, Sakura, and Akako get lunch. As for you Naruto..."

In just a couple of minutes everyone was sitting down with a bowl of ramen infront of then, four servings Akako observed. Naruto was tied to a wood log infront of everyone as they ate their food.

"If any of you share your food with him, you will fail too." Kakashi stated and then disappeared.

Several minutes into lunch and only Akako hadn't taken a bite of her food.

"Akako-chan? What's wrong?" Sakura asked her.

"Sakura-san? Would you be willing to share one portion of your food with Naruto-kun?" Akako asked her.

"Huh? But Kakashi-sensei said..." She was cut off.

"You didn't answer my question." Akako looked at Naruto.

"I- I guess."

"Onii-chan?" She turned to Sasuke.

"You heard what Kakashi-sensei said. I'm not going back to that academy." Sasuke responded.

"But we each have four portions on our plate, if we each ate three, we would each have one left, combined that would be three portions left, if we gave that to Naruto-kun, everyone would have had three portions."

"Good luck with that sis." Sasuke said as he continued eating his lunch.

Akako scouled. "Sakura-san, you eat three portions and give the last one to Naruto-kun, I'll only eat two of mine so he can have three portions."

As Sakura and Akako ate the portions that were theirs, Naruto stared eagerly at the ramen. When they finished, they put the remaining three portions in a bowl together and put it infront of Naruto.

"Um, my hands are tied..." Naruto replied to the gesture.

Sakura scowled and began to feed him the ramen which made Naruto as happy as ever.

"I thought I told you not to share food with him..." The group turned around to find Kakashi-sensei, standing in the clearing with his arms crossed over his chest.
