Monster?

Sakura helped Sasuke and Naruto up off the ground, but before anyone could do anything, Naruto was running around celebrating.

"Wooo! Akako-san! You got him!" He ran over to her and hugged her. She stuffened under physical interaction, but if Naruto noticed it, he didn't say anything.

As Naruto was running around, making sure no one else was around, Kakashi walked over to the man's body and began feeling for a pulse. Of course there was none. Akako had killed the man, without an emotion showing on her expressionless face.

Kakashi looked over at her, trying to hide the fear in his eyes, it was easy considering 3/4ths of his face was covered. She looked at him with pleading eyes. He took this as a sign that she didn't want the others to know he was dead.

"Naruto!" He yelled at the extravagant blonde ninja. "Stop running around. Everyone else, let's get a move on before he wakes up." He looked at Akako as he said the last part. She breathed a breath of relief.

"Alright!" Naruto yelled, still hyped. Sakura followed him along with Sasuke. Kakashi and Akako stayed behind, eyes locked.

Akako broke eye contact with Kakashi to look at the dead man. She walked over to him and crouched down on the balls of her feet. She looked up at Kakashi, who was still staring at her intently, before looking back down at the man. She put her hands together and started forming unrecognizable seals.

Kakashi stood there, interested in what she was doing. As Akako finished, she stood up and stepped away. She looked at Kakashi with an emotionless expression on her face. Kakashi looked down at the man to see that he had started coughing again.

The man sat up and puked onto the ground at Akako's feet, before looking up at her with fear in his eyes. "You monster!" He yelled.

Akako looked down at him, trying to hide the pain in her eyes. Not many things got to her, but when people called her a monster, it broke something inside her, because she knew it was true.

"Monster!" He yelled, getting up and attempting to run away, but failing every few steps. "Monster!"

She looked at the ground, not too eager to look up at Kakashi. After a few moments had passed, she looked up to find that Kakashi had left.

She sunk to her knees.

I am a monster. She thought to herself. The only reason that man was able to walk away was because of Kakashi. She didn't want him to think of her as the cold-blooded murderer that she truley was. She didn't bring him back to life, she only used her Chakra to stimulate his heart for at most 10 minutes. Enough for him to run off far away and then collapse and die for good.

She felt a strange substance on her face and reached up her hand to touch her cheek to find tears. They were pouring out of her eyes. She was a monster and she knew it, but more imporant, Kakashi knew it.

She wiped her tears off with her hand and stood up, regaining her expressionless facial expression.

She headed off in the direction that the others went.
