"Hey, Akako..."

"I'm sorry..."

"What?"

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have ran away sensei."

"You know, Sakura dispeled that gen-jutsu."

"Was it that abvious?" She laughed.

"Why?"

"Because..." She paused. "I was afraid."

"Of what?"

"Myself..." She answered hesitantly.

"You shouldn't be." He walked over to her and sat on the edge of her bed. "You shouldn't be." He repeated.

She pushed herself up and wrapped her arms around him as tight as she could. She finally let the tears come pouring out of her eyes. "I've been wanting to do this since the night I ran away. I just want to be in your arms, it is the only place I feel safe, safe from myself." She confessed.

"Shh," He wiped away her tears. "Don't cry beautiful."

She laughed with tears still in her eyes as she hugged him tighter.

~Time skip to morning~

As Akako pealed her eyes open she was surprised by a sleeping form beside her.

Kakashi-senpai.

His arms were wrapped around her protectively and her head was comfortably laying in the crook of his neck.

If only we could stay like this forever.

"Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto came bursting through the door.

Quickly, Akako disentangled herself from Kakashi and scooted away from him, accidentally falling off the bed in the process.

"Ouch..." She muttered.

"What, Naruto?" Kakashi mumbled.

"Did you sleep in here?" Naruto asked, wide-eyed.

"Wake me up later, I was having the best dream." Kakashi grabbed a pillow and cuddled it.

"Uhh... okay," Naruto answered awkwardly.

"Oi, Naruto. Help me up will ya?" Akako yelled at him.

"Sure," He reached his hand down to help her up.

"Dang Kakashi, taking up the whole bed." She mumbled and left the room.

"You slept with Kakashi!?" Naruto yelled loud enough for the whole house to hear.
"What?" Akako saw Sasuke coming out of the living room.

"No I didn't Naruto! Now shut up!" Akako yelled as she stomped out of the front of the house. "Stupid boys."

~Time skip to night~

"When are we going to leave Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura asked as everyone prepared for sleep.

"Tommorrow morning, so get a good night's rest." He looked towards Akako and winked, well with his one visable eye it could've been a blink, but whatever.

"Goodnight!" Everyone said in unison as everyone headed off to bed.

~Midnight~

Akako stretched as she sat up on the bed. She looked over at Sakura who was snoring and drooling all over the place and smiled. Charming.

Akako go up and went into the living room to see Kakashi waiting for her.

"I thought you forgot about me for a while." Kakashi joked.

"How could I forget about you senpai?" She giggled and skipped over to him.

"Your adorable." He poked her nose.

"Stop, your embarrassing me." She covered her blush with her hands.

"Don't cover your beautiful smile."

"Can I tell you something?" She sat in his lap and looked up into his eye.

"What?"

"You make me really happy."

"You make me really happy too."

Akako blushed and giggled.

I've never been so happy. I never thought I would find someone who would make me as happy as Kakashi does.

"Promise me something Akako."

"What?"

"You'll never run away again."

She hesitated before she answered. "I promise."

Kakashi smiled under his mask."You want something to drink?"

"Kakashi, I'm underage."

"I meant water, silly."

"Oh..." She looked away in embarrassment. "Yeah."

He picked her up bridal-style and carried her over to the kitchen where he placed her on the counter.

He went to the fridge and got a jug of water and then he got a cup fron the cupboard. He poured Akako some water and handed to her.

"Thank you senpai." She teased.

She brought the cup up to her lips and emediately gagged.

"Akako?"

She ran to the front door and outside where she threw up.

"Oh my god, what was that, because it wasn't water."

"Sorry, it was mixed with medicine. Here let me get you a wet towel." Kakashi raced back inside.

"Gross." Akako sat down.

~Meanwhile in the kitchen~

Kakashi wetted a towel and then rung it out. As he was ringing it out, he heard Akako scream from outside.

He dropped the towel and ran outside.

"Akako?" She was no where. There wasn't a trace of her, except a piece of ripped navy blue cloth and some blood splattered on the ground. "Akako!?" He screamed.
