China looked slightly distressed. "Running away aint as easy as I thought...people are stupid sometimes." Micheal gave a sob and Thomas had a poker face on. I was simply curious as to what got us into this situation in the first place. "I was trying to get this person to a safe place...unfortunatly we had to cross a border and she wasn't the best liar...they saw through us and we ran for it. I accidentally might have led them to the house. Then they got distracted though because of all your partying so they caught a bunch of people, then I found Thomas, got you and Micheal tagged along as we ran for our lives." Micheal gave another sob, he looked like he needed a drink. "How long are we gonna stay here?" I asked China. She shrugged and said "I was planning on having Thomas drive Micheal out and you and I stay here for a while longer. Does that sound good kiddo?" I nodded, a little relieved.
Ever since I left Quentin, I'd been having strange dreams about him, in all of them he hates me and leaves me behind...I don't like 'em so I try to stay awake as long as possible. I don't want to face him just in case my dreams become a reality.
China and I were having a blast. We had baked cookies and then we played Just Dance on the Wii. China laughed as I stumbled through the moves and she tried to show me how to do it. After that we started talking and our conversations got really deep, at some point I told her about my dad and showed her my scars again. She nodded in understanding and we blabbered on.
Thomas didn't come back until the next night. He was super tired and sprawled out on the couch and snored, not even bothering taking his shoes off. China giggled and we went to bed as well. The fact that Micheal didn't show up with Thomas either meant He made it safely home or he got caught.
