The next day I jumped out of bed. I ran downstairs and grabbed my bag. I unlocked the door and steeped outside. I was so excited for school I didn't even try to be quiet, I've never had friends like this before!

An arm came on my shoulder. "Gah!" I say as I turn around to see my fathers eyes boring into mine.

"SHUT UP!" I gulp and run. Luckily he doesn't purse and once I'm two blocks away I finally slow down.

At school lunch~

I sit down again. Linda is talking about Atoms. Liam is laughing with Benjamin. Nadine is reading and Quentin is giving me the death stare again.

I roll my eyes and start eating.

"Go on!" Liam pushes Benjamin. Benjamin grins at me ad says. "I'm having a party at my house. Want to come?" It's only the second day Ive been here and already a party! I feel kind of light headed!

"Sure! It might be fun!" Nadine looks up and says. "I hope so...I hate loud parties. They hurt my ears. I can't hear my own voice over the music."

Liam says. "Well at least you won't need to worry about others hearing your voice. We never can."

Nadine shoots him a glare and returns to her book. "Hmpf" we all laugh as she turns red. Linda suddenly jumps up. "I get to style your hair!" "W-what!?"

She grins and jumps around. "Do to worry us nerds always have good clothes!" Confused I continue eating my pizza. Usually its the opposite way around, this school is amazing.

I laugh with my new friends as they joke around. I notice some other kids looking longingly at our table and Quentin glaring at me.

This school is so strange!

At the dance~

I arrive with Linda. For once Linda is not clutching a bunch of books to herself as if they are her lifeline. Linda is dressed like a hippy.

She has a long red dress on with flowers on it that goes to her sandals. Her hair is let down an she smudged her makeup.

I'm wearing a purple dress and matching heels. I did my makeup and I styled my hair up in a bun. I like it plain and simple.

As we arrive we see Nadine is not even dressed for the occasion. Linda stares at her and pulls her towards the bathroom to change her clothes.

I'm all alone until somebody taps my shoulder. "Why the hell are you here!" I know that voice. "Because I felt like coming!" Quentin grumbles as he walks away. I can hear him mumbling even after.

Benjamin suddenly appears with Liam out of nowhere. "Come dance! This is a party!" Benjamin grabs my hand and we dance. A lot of other kids have shown up as well and I laugh, this is my second party and it's a lot better then the first.

Two hours later~

Nadine is sitting in a corner reading. She had changed into a yellow skirt and pink top. But she put her jean jacket over it so no one could see. She doesn't like to expose herself, she told me its part of her religion. I told her I was cool with it and she didn't have to do anything she didn't want to, when I said that she beamed.

Benjamin was on the couch snoring. Liam was dancing alone on the floor alone but somehow managed to still look cool as he swayed with his imaginary partner. Linda was cleaning. And I was sipping a drink. Quentin was in a corner playing games on his phone, it was really loud and every few seconds it got louder until it drowned out the music and Liam was dancing to that instead.

We were the only one's left. I sighed when I saw I was late for work I hope Larry doesn't punish me for this.

"Guys I have to go." "Finally!" Quentin groaned. I glared at him. Benjamin snuffled in his sleep. He's cute! Linda looked up from her work. "Ok. Bye!"

Liam stopped dancing and said to no one in particular. "Will you go out with me?! Ok thanks I'll pick you up tomorrow after school!" Then he started dancing again. Me and Linda giggled. He was drunk! But he didn't get as drunk as my dad.

Nadine grunted a goodbye as I grabbed my coat and ran as fast as I could in heels.

By the time I got there ny feet hurt but Larry said it was okay because for once I was dressed all sexy.
