Why Dont You Notice Me - FINISHED

My teacher welcomed us warmly and we quickly sat all the way at the back. China is actually really good at all school work but she pretended she wasn't whenever teachers she didn't like we're teaching. Now I hope she puts in all her hard work into this cause I wanna see her succeed.
I saw the door open and there stood Quentin.

He was wearing baggy clothes and he looked angrier than ever. He scanned the class and when his gaze settled on me he promptly turned and sat at the desk farthest from me. I was a little hurt, I have no idea why he would do that!
China on the other stood up and said "who are you?" He turned to her and said "I'm Quentin. You?" He spat as if he hated everything about her. "Im China." "You don't look Chinese." "You don't look smart." There was an unsettling silence. I don't know why I thought I could break it up but I stood up and said "let's all relax." Quentin ignored me. China sat down however.
"Is that the dude you talked about?" She whispered. I nodded.

The class was horrible and I think my teacher was fed up. China and Quentin kept challenging each other and seeing who was smartest. I think China won.

Lunch time was up and Quentin was the first out out of the classroom, pushing past a few people. China and I talked about the English homework, write a story about something that means a lot to you.

As we walked into the cafeteria I saw Benjamin and Liam sitting alone at a table. China rushed to them and said "hey cuties! Mind if we sit here?" Benjamin looked up and saw me, "Luna!" He gasped and rushed to hug me  Liam looked up as well and stared at China.
"Benjamin it's so good to see you!" Benjamin nodded, his grin stretching on his face, his eyes were red, I think he had been crying. China was flirting with Liam, they were both talking, I hope Liam is okay.

Benjamin sat us down at the table and said "Alright. Here's what happened while you were gone."
