Why Dont You Notice Me - FINISHED

New school day

The next day I got up as quietly as possible an got dressed. Then I crept outside with my bag and went to school, not time for a breakfast or shower, besides I might wake up my dad who sleeps in the chair in front of the tv. I cant possibly wake him when uts this early.

The only reason I get into schools so easily is because I have a very good IQ. At least sone people think so, my dad doesn't, and he lets me know about it to.

Five minutes later~

I arrive in front of my school. As I walk through the doors I hear loads of whispering. "Oh my god!" "Cheek out the new kid!" "Woah she needs to get a manicure!" Psh well duh! You try living in my house, you wouldn't survive a week.

I angrily turn towards my locker. As I'm putting my books away I see a boy, who looks rather familiar, putting his away to. He has brown fancy hair and green eyes. He is kinda short too. He gives me the death stare and then moves away. I roll my eyes, no point in making friends anyways, I'm just going to move on afterwards. I dont even know why I'm in high school, when I'm older the only chance I have of doing anything is taking over Larry's business.

Boy moving in this school was going to be hard!

Somebody tapped my shoulder, making me flinch and leap back. "Hi I'm Benjamin!" He said, hand out for me to shake which I never did. "Oh uh hi!" I said turning to the handsome black kid with nerdy looking glasses. He grinned and said. "What class are you taking?" "All the classes." I mumbled. "Oh you're a smart one you are! Me two! And so is the whole gang!" "Who?" "Oh you'll see at lunch!"

Class~

As I sat at my desk I saw that the boy who gave me the death glare was starring at me. When he saw me looking at him he narrowed his eyes even further then what I thought was humanly possible.

"What the hell are you looking at!" He said. Everybody turned. "I uh sorry...I just...well uh...I-" but Benjamin stood up for me. "Relax Quentin! She was just trying to be friendly!"

When I smiled at him in thanks he winked. Quentin huffed and turned around. "What's his problem?" I asked. "Oh he's always like that." Benjamin remarked. Well fuck me then, I've already identified the bully in this school.

Lunch~

As me and Benjamin got our food he texted all his friends to meet us at a certain table. "Okay! So you never actually told me your name!?" "Oh right it's Luna!" I said. "Hey!" "Hi!" "What's up!" "Hello!" "Why's the new girl here!?" I turned to see a whole bunch of people behind me. Who knew it was the nerds that populated this school!

"Shut up Quentin I invited her!" "Whatever!" Quentin grumbled and sat down far away from me. "Ass." I muttered. "WHAT!" He said getting up and spilling his food everywhere. "Uh I'm sorry I di-"

He stormed away. I looked down ashamed. Benjamin patted my back. "And that's a perfect picture of his good side!" He said happily. "Now let me introduce you to my friends!"

He pointed to a small girl wearing pink glasses and clutching her books tightly to her chest. Her blond hair was quickly swept into to small pigtails. "Hey I'm Linda! And I study everything that has to do with the environment and maths and science! I actually tend to do all three but you know me!" She said nervously in a squeaky voice, it made my ears hurt and I smiled awkwardly.

Next a hot boy stepped up. "My names Liam and I am not a nerd like a bunch of you guys. I'm a jock." His blue eyes had me mesmerized. "Nice to meet you!" I breathed. His chuckle took my breath away. His black hair and dark skin really made the blue and green eyes stand out more.

Then a girl steeped up and said really fast and quiet. "My names Nadine as I am the one that studies English and languages. But everyone finds that funny because it's so hard to hear me."
Her black hair was tied in a braid that fell to her waist. She also had a really nice skin color but I felt it would be weird if I told her that.
