chapter 16

annikas pov.

i dont know what i hate more...
history, my teacher, or the students.

all of it is stupid as hell.

im close to falling asleep and i dont want anymore detention. ugh fuck detention. i have detention with Jake for two weeks. GREAT!!!! (note the sarcasm)

i sigh and look up at the board and write down a sentence of notes then give up and drop my pen.

whats the point of learning history ? i mean honestly its pretty much learning about dead people like...why ??

i snap my head up to my teacher when he says "test" and internally groan when he passes out study guides. i take one look at the first sentence of the page and roll my eyes "well im fucked" i mumble and skim through the rest of it.

killing. myself.

the bell finally rings and i make my way to French. YAY! (note the very extreme sarcasm)

the last bell of my final class finally rings and i groan when i remember i have detention.

i make my way out of the classroom and down to my locker to drop my really heavy books off. after im done i walk down the hall to the detention room and roll my eyes when the only people that are in there are Jakes friends.

i set my backpack down and shrug my flannel off my shoulders revealing my strapless black croptop. this gesture earns me quite a few whistles and i feel the heat traveling up to my face. i roll my eyes once again and take my seat.

i take out my phone and plug in an earbud putting my playlist on shuffle.
i rest my chin in my palms and stare at the clock trying the calculate how many songs will go by durning these two hours.

not a minute later the one and only Jake walks in.

why must he be so fûcking hot? it physically hurts me.

and he decides to sit right next to me. PERFECT.

'My Way - by Fetty Wap' started playing and i hummed along lost in my one world

i glanced over at Jake and gulped when my eyes instantly met his. i quickly looked away and continued to hum to my music. without warning my music stopped playing because someone ripped out my earbud. i snapped my head in Jakes direction who was currently holding my earbud and smirking.

"Jake" i hiss through gritted teeth
"give it the fuck back" i say sternly and he chuckles

"fiesty" he winks. "i like it"

"Jake
im not fuçking kidding give me the god damn earbud." i say raising my voice slighting

"get it yourself." he says holding the earbud on top of his jeans - more specifically his crotch. 

"you can not be fucking serious." i hiss standing up causing my chair to squeak and catching the attention of many of his friends.
