chapter 27

annikas pov.

"my birthday's in 3 days." i comment and peek my head above the covers. i hear Jakes laughter stop abrubtly snd he looks down at me with shock on his face.

"what?? WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME!?" he says and i giggle. "i dunno." i say and sit up and face him, he has a mishevious smile and it scares me but its SO cute.

"what do you want?" he says and looks really excited which causes me to giggle, again.

"i dont know." i sigh and put my hair up into a bun. "come onnnnnnn" he says and i laugh at him.

"i dont need anything, Jake." i say and his face drops into a 'bruh' expression. "well im gonna get you something obviously so..." he says and motions for me to say somethung, or tell him what i want.

"i dont care, as i said i dont need anything so.. suprise me? if you REALLY need to get me something." i say and he rolls his eyes playfully. "your so difficult." he mumbles and then taps his chin in deep thought. he looks so cute. my eyes travel from his face to his shirtless torso and i try not to drool at the eye candy in front of me.

when my eyes finally travel back up to Jakes face hes already looking at me with a smirk on his face. oops he caught me. i licked my dry lips and turned around and shut off my lamp.

"night." i say and he groans behind me. "your just gonna leave me hanging?" he asks and i smirk then shake my sweatshirt (dont even) off my shoulders and lay down. "yup" i say and i can almost see him checking me out from behind.

i soon feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and warm skin contact when his shirtless stomach meets my bare back. I gasp at the sudden contact and my body suddenly heats up. His hot skin wasn't helping either. Was it even that hot? Or was it just me??

I squirm under the uncomfortable feeling of hotness and I can feel his smirking against my neck. as if he knows exactly what's happening. "asshole" I mumble and a low, hot chuckle escapes his lips, sending vibrations through my whole body, turning me on even more.   

"goodnight baby" he says and I let out a frustrated huff then turn around and put my leg over his and wrap my arms around his torso. "goodnight" I mumble and snuggle up to his hard body.
