~Prologue~

*Erizel's POV*

I stood perfectly still, letting the wind blow by me as I looked down on the world, concentrating on not falling through the sky to the ground. I could feel a bright light and a dark shadow washing over my body.

They were watching me. Of course. They always watch me, ever since I left. Most people would think they're just being good parents, watching over me, but I know better. They're doing it to make sure the other doesn't get to me. Mother refuses to let me near father, and father refuses to let mother get anywhere close to me.

As I hovered there in the air I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts by someone yelling my name.

"Erizel! Erizel we see you up there! Come down here and talk to us.

I looked down and saw my two best friends on the ground below me waving wildly.

"Okay okay I'm coming I'm coming!" I called back. I gently floated down, landing in between them. I looked at my friends and couldn't help but stop and stare for a minute.

Gabriel was beautiful, wearing white jeans and a tight white shirt, looking as if he were glowing with his ear length blond hair blowing gently in the wind, his tan skin glowing slightly.

Shade was as dark and handsome as Gabriel was beautiful and bright. His shaggy black hair covering his left eye and his lip ring reflecting the sun. His pale skin looked as if lit from inside of him, going nicely with his black skinny jeans and tight black t-shirt.

Both of my best friends were pretty muscular. Gabriel more buff, his muscled biceps and chest filling out his shirt deliciously. Shade on the other hand was lean, skinnier looking then Gabriel but nowhere near scrawny. His shirt pulled across his chest hitting at the muscle underneath.

"Erizel?" Gabriel asked, waving his hand in front of my face.

"Oh! Sorry about that. I was...uhm..." I stuttered.

"Ogling us?" Shade asked with that signature cocky grin of his.

"M-maybe" I said, blushing.

They both laughed as Gabriel rested his arm on my shoulder and Shade wrapped his arm around my waist.

I looked up at the sky then down to the ground, muttering to myself. I'm so screwed.
