~Chapter 7~
*Erizel's POV*
"Knock knock knock."
Slowly rubbing my eyes I sat up and stretched, squinting at the sunlight streaming into the room. I leaned over and shook Ember.
"Wake up! Go get the door I'm too tired to move," I whined.
"Ugh you're so lazy." Ember groaned back at me.
"You're point?"
"Fine I'll get the stupid door." She said as she got up and walked toward the door.
Before she could even open it the door crashed open, making her jump out of the way before she got smacked in the face.
"Are you both okay? How could you do this to us? Why would you just run off? Do you have ANY idea what happened while you were gone?" Gabriel asked me in rapid succession.
"Yes, it wasn't hard, because I could, no what?" I answered.
"What do you mean it wasn't hard? You can just abandon us that easily? And THE War started. I assume you know both of your sisters are dead, they were killed by the other sides, and God and Lucifer are both readying their armies!" Shade shouted at me.
"You ignore me all the time, why can't I do the same to you? And you were talking about that? Of course I know that the war is starting, I even know what's going to ha-I know. Trust me I know."
"What? How do you know?" Shade asked.
"None of your business," I snapped.
"Before you two start bickering, what are we going to do?" Gabriel said, stepping in between us.
"Who is this?" Ember leaned over and whispered in my ear.
"Oh right I forgot you haven't met," I said gesturing to Gabriel and Ember, "Ember Gabriel, Gabriel Ember."
I watched Ember blush as she waved at Gabriel, where as Gabriel just stood there with his mouth hanging open.
"Yo, Gabriel? You okay there? You better close your mouth before I put something in it that should never be anywhere near your mouth," Shade taunted.
"Are you okay?" Ember mumbled while staring at her feet.
Sighing, I looked around the room, waiting for this to be over. It was just your average hotel room, plain white walls, a small bathroom, two queen beds, that awful beige carpet. Nothing overly nice or overly awful either.
"Alright! Enough of this, we need to talk about what we're going to do." I said, clapping my hands loudly.
"What do you mean 'What we're going to do'? I thought that was obvious." Ember, Gabriel, and Shade said all at once.
"You're going to fight on the side of good," Gabriel declared.
"You're going to fight on the side of evil," Shade and Ember cheered.
"No she's not!" They all shouted at once.
"Shut up you three!" I shouted, "I don't know which side I'm going to choose but if and when I choose it will be for me, not for any of you. And I thought you were my friends, why can't we just all work to stop the war instead of choosing a side?"
"It doesn't work that way Erizel, you know better than that. We are already pledged to a side, we can't not fight on a side." Gabriel explained to me.
I looked at my three friends.
Ember, with her mid back level blond hair, she's a big shorter then I am, and kept glancing at Gabriel out of the corner of her eye when she thought no one was looking.
Gabriel and his shaggy blond hair and well toned body, doing the same to Ember. Somehow they managed to not catch each other's eyes.
And then Shade of course who was just glaring at me like this entire thing was my fault.
"Well... why can't you just... choose my side?" I questioned.
"Bu- I.." Gabriel stuttered.
"Can we do that?" Ember asked Shade.
"I guess we could, technically, because we'll each be joining 'God' or 'Satan'." Shade mused.
"Yaaaay! I win!" I said as I danced around like a crazy person.
I stopped dancing and looked at them all staring at me like I was crazy before looking down at myself. I was wearing a pair of tight black skinny jeans and a plain red tank top, so it's not like there's something wrong with how I look right now.
Looking back at them I asked, "What are you looking at? Never seen a girl dance around when she's happy?"
"No... I can't say that I have," Shade said rudely.
"Well now you have!" I cried.
"On another note," I started, "what are we going to do? The war is set for a month from now so we need to figure out a plan and start training."
"I think that we need to find a way to get in the middle of the war and possibly stop it. We're all going to need to train. We have 30 days until the solar eclipse, not counting today. We better make the most of them." Gabriel said in an ominous tone.
